We’ve heard your requests for Voilà treat pouches, and we’re excited to announce that they’re finally here! As one of the limited stockists in Europe, and with the holiday season approaching, now is the perfect time to get your hands on one of these fantastic pouches.

uses the sealable pouch since she often does water sports with Blue, and it keeps the treats dry. I use the smaller pouch for my city walks with Pisco.

Which one will you choose?

It’s almost surreal to finally share this news… 🎊🪄🎉 🎈

Since the very beginning, it’s been a topic of discussion between Natalie & I, unsure if it would manifest as a modest urban space or something larger beyond the city limits. Everything fell into place when Natalie expressed her desire to move to the countryside.

Natalie will be settling up north on a 16-hectare piece of land, which we’ll gradually transform into a comprehensive dog facility. It’ll be your go to for absolutely everything - training, boarding, grooming, daycare, shopping, physio, seminars, workshops, herding clinic, luring course, scent work, obedience classes and more. 🙌🏼

I am filled with profound gratitude towards Natalie for embracing this vision and opening her life to dogs in this way.

To each and every one of you who contributed to making this dream a reality, my heartfelt thanks. And to Nikita, Sarah, Sophia, Fanni, and Amy – your unwavering support has been the cornerstone of this incredible journey.

What facility/ service are you guys looking most forward to using? Let us know in the comments!!! 😍😍

This is by far the most exciting post we have made thus far 🥹🎉😍. Nine individuals(!!!), each possessing incredible inspiration, positivity and ambition. And they all so happen to be WOMEN! 🤘💪

When I started Alix & the Pack, I could never have imagined reaching this point. Now, I’ve encountered someone who has profoundly impacted my life—Natalie. I am immensely grateful for her role as one of my greatest inspirations and the ultimate sidekick. Everyone should be fortunate enough to have a Natalie in their life 💓.

As Natalie and I bid farewell to 2023, we do so with a sense of vitality, overflowing pride and an unwavering drive.

To all of you who’ve made this dream possible by helping us build the Alix & the Pack community, comment below what you and your dogs highlight has been this year ⬇️⬇️⬇️.

🦋 Embracing the Butterfly Effect in My Life 🦋

I wanted to take a moment to reflect on something truly magical that's been happening in my life lately - I've been feeling the butterfly effect in full swing.

For those who aren't familiar with the concept, the butterfly effect is all about how small, seemingly insignificant actions can set off a chain reaction of events that lead to significant changes in our lives. It's about how the flap of a butterfly's wings can eventually influence the weather on the other side of the world.

One prime example of this phenomenon in my life is the incredible journey I’ve been on with Nikita. It all started with a chance encounter when she became my client, coming to me with her lovely dog, Rosie. Little did I know, this was the beginning of something extraordinary.

Throughout this year, Nikita and Rosie's dedication, hard work and trust in the process led to remarkable results in their lives. It was a joy to witness their journey and be a part of it.

But here's where the butterfly effect truly kicks in: Nikita's passion and enthusiasm didn't stop at being a client. Fast forward to today, and I am overjoyed to announce that she's now a valued member of our team! 🤩🥳

As I captured some beautiful moments today, taking pictures of Nikita and Rosie, it struck me how this journey has come full circle. From client to colleague, from strangers to friends, and from one small decision to a world of opportunity. Life has a beautiful way of surprising us with its twists and turns. I'm grateful for moments like these that make me appreciate the magic of the butterfly effect in my life.

Nikita, a warm welcome to our team. You are an invaluable member! 🎉💖

This is Missy, a beautiful Australian Shepherd I've been training for the past couple of weeks in our 5-week Puppy Course.

Missy is a dog that tends to get easily frightened and isn't very comfortable around strangers. I want to clarify that her behaviour isn't rooted in anxiety; instead, she's simply a timid dog in her critical developmental stage. I'm not concerned about her being apprehensive during this period.

What does concern me, however, is when owners acquire puppies like Missy and, because they don't exhibit the typical hyperactive behaviour seen in most puppies, they panic. Instead of seeking professional dog training guidance, they expose their unprepared puppies to situations like dog parks, crowded areas, or groups of people. This approach can transform a once slightly unsure and spooked puppy into an anxious and fearful one.

I want to emphasise that Missy's parents did not take this route. They reached out to me, and together, we acknowledged that Missy's hesitance towards strangers and other dogs is not a flaw but a unique aspect of her character. We've been working in harmony with this trait rather than trying to change it.

As a dog trainer, I often experience anxiety when working with puppies. It's a responsibility that weighs heavily on me. I worry if I've effectively conveyed to the owners the importance of proper socialisation.

, I'm incredibly proud of the progress you've made. Your growth, enthusiasm, and intelligence in each session have amazed me. I still remember when you used to shy away at my slightest movement, and now you jump at me to seek more training!😅⭐️🥹

To all those owners who have young puppies in their critical development phase, especially if they're slightly shy and uncertain about the world, I urge you to contact a skilled dog trainer. A professional can help you raise your puppy in a way that suits their unique needs and ensures they become well-adjusted dogs.

We are delighted to announce that starting from September onwards, our esteemed service, Structured Walks, will become more readily available. Allow us to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of structured walks and the benefits they offer to you and your dog.

So, what exactly are structured walks? Well, they're like a power-packed training session combined with a fun-filled walk! Your dog gets the chance to do their business, stretch those legs and maintain all their city manners. And the best part? You'll receive regular updates on all the action through our WhatsApp team chat! It's like having a personal trainer for your dog, but in the form of a walk. We understand that this concept may appear too good to be true, particularly considering that our prices for Structured Walks are commensurate with the rates of other regular dog walking services in Copenhagen.

With regards to scheduling, we have made arrangements to accommodate the summer weather by rescheduling our walks to earlier hours. However, our regular hours will remain from 10 am to 3 pm, Monday to Friday, ensuring that your dog can benefit from our service consistently.

Now, you may be wondering about the, well… structure of these structured walks. Rest assured that we approach each dog's individual needs with meticulous attention and care. Whether it involves refining recall skills, addressing reactivity issues or threshold work, our experienced team has got you covered. It is important to note that while structured walks contribute to a dog's progress, they should not be perceived as a panacea. A consistent and dedicated approach to training by the owner is crucial for sustained growth and improvement. Ultimately, our focus is to foster the essential skills necessary for urban dogs to thrive. This encompasses various aspects, such as teaching down stays at cafes, reinforcing recall, promoting loose leash walking, and cultivating neutrality when encountering city objects, such as skateboards.

🐶 ALIX & THE PACK SEMINAR @ SEKS
📅 8TH JULY
⏰ 5PM - 8.30PM

Alix & the Pack is trying new things. We are creating a doggy parents evening combined with a seminar. We hope to make this a tradition that will bring together a community of people who want to learn and better the lives of their dogs.

There are only 30 spots to this event.

The price of this ticket covers:

- Sharing plates for the table created by Mati Pichci in the cosy space, Seks, located in the city centre.

- An hours seminar held by Natalie where we will dig deep into conditioning theory and speak about how you can troubleshoot behavioural issues on your own. We want you to not only know it, but to truly understand it.

To keep the price as budget friendly as possible, alcohol will not be included at this event.

To RSVP, drop us an Instagram message. You’ll be sent a link to RSVP to. Click GOING and within 24 hours, you will receive an invoice from Alix & the Pack. Once you have paid, your spot is secured.

These tickets are nonrefundable.

Looking forward to meeting you! 🕺🏼

Molly is here to let you know that Structured Walks are going to be running most days from September with a heck of a lot more availability! Wooohooo!

We’ve had some clients on our waitlist for around 9 months (sorry 😝❤️) but that shouldn’t be the case anymore!

I’m currently doing weekly structured walks for Molly alongside sessions as she definitely needs that extra support with the severity of her case.

Meet Leo! 🦁🥹

I’ve started to take up some Puppy Courses to ease the pressure of Natalie as she’s getting booked up! I’ll take the courses which are further away from Copenhagen.

Wow, I’ve missed training puppies. In the first session, we covered place work, crate training, building a bit of structure to the day, potty training, guest training and general socialisation. All massive topics in of themselves. Sometimes I think to myself I need to make the first session of the 5 Week Puppy Course™️ 2 hours long, but I don’t know if the owners can handle that 😅🤓

Some very difficult moments with crate training Leo but the results are paying off! Not even a week later and he’s sleeping there at night, practicing home alone training in it, taking naps during the day & doing some place work when he gets stir crazy in the evenings.

So proud of you, Leo & the fam🕺🏼💘

Saturday is wild! Like any Golden puppy is. She’s full of beans & thinks everything with a pulse is her best friend. We love that about her - but these structured walks are aimed at building some neutrality.

She’s one structured walk in and it’s too soon to say anything other than, she was a good girly!🥹💕

This post is important to make as heat stroke is not something we should mess around it. It poses a real threat to our dogs and sometimes when you start to see the signs, you’re already too late. It can kill.

So at Alix & the Pack, we are taking every necessary precaution!

There’s generally two reasons as to why dogs don’t listen: the competing motivators (environment) is too interesting or the dog just literally doesn’t understand what you mean (you’ve only taught it under specific criteria).

So when your dog isn’t listening to you, remind yourself that it might be because you need to go back to the first two stages of learning and proof it more.

For those new to this profile, I want to reintroduce myself!

My name is Alix and I’m 23 years old. I started this company when I was 21 years old and it’s original name was ‘Walk the Woof’ (I’m glad we changed that…). I read back at my journal entries from March 2021, when this all started and I remember writing, ‘my goal for this year is to have at least 8 clients’. In that year I had a couple hundred, which is so mind-blowing to reflect on. This community is everything to me and I am so proud of the space we have created!

Outside of dogs, my favourite food is Asian. I speak English and Danish. I have 4 tattoos, one of which is in honour of my first dog Simba, who I can thank for my love for all of this!! I was born in France, lived there for the first three years of my life and then grew up in London until I moved to Copenhagen a few years ago. My favourite animal is an Orca (and dogs… duh!).

In my free time, I love to train my dog ( style), make dinners with friends, attend my book club, walk in national parks, go to saunas and eat out at cute dinner spots.

If you are new here introduce yourself in the comments!!
