Been working on Mindie's off-leash recall (especially now while the dog area is a mud hole) and she is doing so well. A few "I can't hear you" moments, mostly to do with birds, but I'm so proud of her. 🐦

I've been wanting to take pictures of this door with my black dog pack for weeks, but there is a dog that lives right next to it (owns it?) and doesn't want to share a picture opportunity with others. The rain afforded us our moment. 🌧️

Rufus has no concept of personal space and it's the best. He plopped his ass in my lap and would look at me over his shoulder whenever I had the nerve to stop petting him. 👀

I'm so thankful for having Genji around to walk me to my front door. He must think I'm an idiot and incapable of finding my way home without his help... Or he knows I have good treats and wants them 🤷‍♀️

Selma is making sure I'm not going to drop anything while I eat lunch. She has her eye on me hard. And after, she is good at keeping me warm by snuggling up 🐶

I took Benji to hunt mice. In his mind he is a great mouser, while in reality he has never caught anything, but he never gives up and we could all learn that from him. But, as soon as he knows we are headed home, he walks like I'm leading him to the electrific chair with how slow he walks. 🐁

After stopping Loki from stuffing his face with something delicious he found on the ground, the glare he gave me would have set me on fire if it could have 🔥

When there comes a time that I cannot do what I do, I could get a job in a casino. I have a lot of practice with that hand-flipping thing to show the cameras you don't have anything in your hands... I do that 100 times a day with dogs and treats! 🤣🤣🤣

My hands in my pocket? Must be getting a treat *hand-flip*

So far, January has been all over the place with weather, but I'm loving these sunny, cold days!

Happy New Year! Unfortunately the weather hasn't be nice to me so far in 2025 but these happy faces and wagging tails make me forget that my pants are wet, my jacket soaked and my socks damp... Not to mention the wind trying to throw me off course when biking. But I'm here and ready to make 2025 a great year with my fur buddy pack

And just like that, 2024 for Lex Go Walk is over. What a year!! Thank you everyone for the support, the friendship and, of course, the doggos. I love what I do and I cannot believe I'm able to do this as a job. It's a dream! I look forward to everything that 2025 will bring.

Sorry I forgot to give an update. My infection counts are back to normal and I'm well again. I went back to work Tuesday, as I don't know how to rest longer than absolutely necessary.

Thank you for the messages and understanding about cancelations or timing changes so I could make my doctor appointments. It means so much to me that you care for me for my health. 🥰

My week got busier than I had planned but was still a great time. I even got to spend the weekend with Selma snuggling on the couch

Hey everyone. Here is an update:

After giving the doctors all my blood, it was confirmed that I'm battling a massive bacterial infection. Thankfully, the antibiotics I got Friday are doing their job and my counts are going in the right direction. I have swelling on the side of my neck that I'm getting an ultrasound for later today to make sure it's not anything serious.

Thank you everyone for the messages and concern. I hate canceling but when I need to it helps knowing I have the most amazing clients ever and you understand some things, like illness, are out of my control and I wouldn't cancel unless it was absolutely necessary.

I appreciate you all so much! And I'm well enough to work again 🎉❤️

I'm so sorry to everyone I needed to cancel for today, especially those going to julefrokost.

I woke up with a temp of 39+, massive headache, my body is shaking from pain and the side of my neck /face on one side is swollen. I slept maybe 2 hours last night. I think I have a virus in my lymphs and I'm calling a doctor at 8 when they open.

I'm crying typing this cause I feel awful about canceling.. Usually I would just power through but I cannot drink water without grimacing in pain so I think biking and walking 6 dogs today isn't a good idea.

As many of you know, I have chronic pain and take meds to regulate my daily pain levels, so if I'm feeling this much pain, on top of what I take to not feel pain, I'm in a lot of pain. I will keep everyone posted and again I'm sorry

Well, I realized I never finished my post from last week and then I started dog sitting 2 doggos and had to cancel 2 days of work cause of the flu, so I just forgot. So here is some pics from last week, dog sitting, and today.

I was fortunate enough to have a lovely visit from my Lilly Bean, and her parents, last Sunday. I don't know who was more excited, her or me!

Also please help my welcome Lucy to my fur buddy pack regular lineup, and is Humle's girlfriend. When I went to pick her up for the first time, she wasn't so sure, but then Humle walked into the house and he must have told her I'm good people, I swear I heard him say "she has good treats", and just like that, Lucy was ready to go.

Eve can catch a ball from across the park, but, even practicing while the treat is in the air, she still misses it 🤣❤️
