Puppy Sevro 💖 During his training session program we worked on his recall, leash walking, crate training, neutrality towards dogs and people, better understanding on his body language, puppy biting, potty training, better focus on the owner, relaxation protocol, self control and many more 💞 he is such a smart boy and it has been such a pleasure to work with him and his mommy 🤗💗

Happy puppies during our group classes 💗

➡️I organise group training classes for puppies in age up to 7 months old.🐶

🇬🇧The classes are held in English.

✅During the classes we will work on loose leash walking, recall, focus and listening skills, self control, enrichment, proper socialization and more!

In this post I want to emphasize how brave my boy Elvis is !! 💖He used to be very reactive to dogs and people on the street but he managed to overcome it, he impresses me every time we meet 🥰🎉 he is very relaxed outside, does not bark or launch anymore and it is much easier for him to disengage from other person or a dog 💪 he can pass by many people with completely no reaction 👏 his neutrality towards dogs has decreased significantly and i'm so happy to see how much his confidence has grown 🥰
So I want it to be an inspiration for others that positive training always pays off and the great results are coming 🎉💪💕

When I scroll through social media, I see hundreds of videos claiming “quick fixes” for reactivity or even “look how we fixed reactivity in ONE training session”.

As someone with a vast amount of experience, I can tell you that reactivity is not that simple. More often these videos are either a marketing trick or utilise harmful techniques that only fix the issue in the short term, disregarding the risk of longer term issues and the wellbeing of the dog.

Or here you go few tips why might your training not work:

1)You might be changing strategies too often.

Reactivity training requires a lot of consistency over a long period of time. If one day you’re trying out one tip you’ve seen and the next you’re trying something different, you’re likely confusing your dog and making things worse.

2) Your dog isn’t getting enough outlets for their needs.

If your dog doesn’t have enough of quality mental exercise, it’s going to be difficult to see overall progress.

3) You know the basics but there’s no consistency.

A lot of clients know the basics of reactivity training. They often have a solid management plan and know roughly how training works but they’re only training sometimes.

For example a common scenario I see, is that people will walk their dog normally in the week and then try to train at the weekend for hours. More effective is to train each day for 10 mins.
