Sweet Elisia, who just turned three, had Maggie's bit in her mouth and a saddle on, today - just for fun. She is still growing, so I cannot ride her yet, but we are playing and preparing for starting under saddle, which will be ba****ck and bitless. Nonetheless, I find introducing her to things, so she does not fear them, is important. She was curious about Maggie's saddle and chewing on her bridle, so I put it on her... She didn't move an ear. Just chewed on the bit, which is way too big.
