As a certified Pro Dog Trainer, my training is based on concepts, acquired through games.
My aim is to get both you and your dog real life ready.
My mission is to grow your pup into a well-adjusted dog and help your relationship thrive.
Because behaviours are just the tip of the iceberg !
SO COME IN AND PLAY !!
YES, PLAY !!!! Why train when you could PLAY ?
Dogs learn as they play. Most importantly, in play, dogs learn how to learn.
Play provides the dog some physical activity, promotes a sense of well being, whilst developing great skills like control, increased social skills and confidence.
“Play. It brings joy. It is within this context, that learning can occur.” (Kyle SNOW, PhD)
WOULD MY PUPPY / YOUNG DOG / ADULT DOG / OLD DOG / HANDICAPED DOG BENEFIT FROM THIS ?
YES !!!!
Whatever the age,
Whatever the gender,
Whatever the breed,
Whatever the handicap,
Whatever the struggle,
Whatever you want to achieve with your dog,
Whatever you need,
THERE IS A GAME FOR THAT !
This I practice on a daily basis with my 4 dogs : Imbolc and Njörd the staffies, Nero the 5kg rescue and Rook the rescue border collie.
You struggle with your dog? I can totally feel you !
“Difficult” breed? I own terriers and shepherd !
“Scary” dog? I own 2 brindle staffies !
“Reactive” dog? My grumpy Imbolc does not like agitation around him at all.
Naughty (but oh so nice) dog? Let’s be honest, I have a soft spot for Naughty But Nice dogs. The ones that lunge, bark, jump, don’t come when called…
Rook and Nero were abandoned quite young because both were “unmanageable”, and I fell in love with them for that.
Physically impaired dog? Rook has one hind leg shorter than another.
Aging dog? Imbolc was born on may 2013, and almost died in a stroke in October 2017.
Believe me : no dog is ever lost, no relationship is ever completely destroyed.
You don’t struggle ? There’s a game for that too !!
Through concept based games, you will top up your relationship bank account, deepen your relationship with your dog, and meet great people in the process !
My motto is NO DOG LEFT BEHIND.
And remember
In every job that must be done, there is an element of fun.
You find the fun and – SNAP – the job’s a game !
