We named him Rico — he’s just 8 weeks old. A car hit him and no one stopped. He lay there on the side of the road, crying quietly until someone finally called us.

We rushed him in for X-rays. His tiny femur is broken, but his spirit isn’t. He still tries to wag his tail when we touch him gently. 💔

He’s safe now, getting pain meds and all the love we can give — but he’ll need surgery soon. If you can, please keep Rico in your heart today. And if you’re able, help us give him the happy, pain-free puppy life he deserves. 💚

💜Deep in the forest, across the river — that’s where Nusica and one of our students found her. Scared, weak, and carrying a large mammary tumor. We named her Tina.

Next week, we’ll give her the chance she deserves — a life without pain🕊️
We already have everything we need to go ahead with the surgery — except for the post-op dressing, which costs $300 XCD.

Covered in ticks, weak, and trembling — yet still fighting for life.

This tiny soul was found inside a garbage bin.
Discarded. Forgotten. But not by us🫶

When we lifted her out, she didn’t growl or bite.
She just looked up — with fear and a spark of hope.

She was found weak, shaking, and fighting for her tiny life💔 Thanks to Jennifer, Susie, Laura, and Dave, four incredible SNAR supporters who refused to look away, Bambi got the chance every soul deserves — a chance to heal.

She came to us so sick from intestinal parasites, but with care, love, and time, this brave little pup is wagging her tail again 💜

Every rescue starts with someone who decides to act.

✨ From tragedy to takeoff ✈️🐾

Oreo and Mouse finally found their Flight Angels — and our hearts couldn’t be happier💛

A year ago, Mouse came to us with her siblings — tiny, sick, and fighting for life after being rescued from the roadside with parvo. Her sisters didn’t make it… but she did. After a blood transfusion and two weeks of intensive care, this brave little soul pulled through.

Oreo (our sweet half-face Domino) was surrendered as a tiny 8-week-old pup in January. Now, both are finally getting their wings to a forever home💫

But we’re still in urgent need of Flight Angels. The shelter is overcrowded, and for now, they’re the only lifeline that allows us to say “yes” to the next rescue waiting on the street.

💔 When we first heard about Lola, the report broke our hearts — “hit by a car, broken leg, suffering badly.” A kind woman’s daughter had been feeding her on the streets, but Lola was all alone.

When she arrived, we feared the worst. But Lola had other plans💪
No broken bones — just a herniated disk in her spine. Painful, yes… but treatable. And with love, therapy, and time, she might walk again🐾

Today, she’s already showing her fighter spirit — wagging her tail, lifting her head, and melting hearts with those eyes.

Every rescue reminds us: hope is stronger than fear. 💚
