Faith's Fight for Life: A Call to Action
We found her wandering, a ghost of a dog. Skin stretched taut over bones, eyes hollow with despair, Faith is a walking embodiment of suffering. Emaciated, dehydrated, and on the brink of death, she is a heartbreaking testament to the cruelty some humans inflict on the innocent.
But then, a flicker of hope. Despite so many challenges we face every single day at SNAR, we gently scooped her up, with our hearts aching with the weight of her suffering, and brought her to safety.
Now, Faith clings to life. Every breath is a victory, every meal a miracle. But the road to recovery is long and arduous. She requires specialized nutrition to rebuild her depleted body, expensive medications to combat the infections that have taken hold, and constant monitoring to ensure she doesn't slip away.
The weight of her care rests heavily on the shoulders of SNAR, a shelter already struggling and overflowing with the needs of countless other abandoned animals. Our resources are stretched thin, their funds dwindling.
But Faith deserves a chance.
She deserves to feel the warmth of the sun on her fur, the joy of a gentle pat, the love of a loving family. But without your help, that dream may remain forever out of reach.

A Heartbreaking Day for St. Nicholas Animal Rescue 💔
Today has been one of the most difficult days in an already very difficult year. We rescued three innocent animals from unimaginable cruelty and pain, all within a single day.
A puppy with a broken femur and a wire deeply embedded in his flesh. This poor baby was brutally beaten. He's undergoing emergency orthopedic surgery tomorrow, and we are praying for a full recovery.
A skeletal puppy, barely 8 weeks old. This tiny soul was left to starve, her body reduced to almost nothing. We are providing her with the nourishment and care she desperately needs.
Another young female puppy, also starved and with a heavy chain around her neck. This innocent creature was callously dumped by the side of the road.
Enough is enough!
Just a day before Christmas, this level of cruelty is appalling. How can a country that prides itself on being religious and calls itself the "Nature Island" allow such horrific acts to occur without any consequences?
We are heartbroken and outraged. These animals deserve better.
We are currently in the process of moving into an emergency shelter, but this tragedy highlights the urgent need for our community to come together and support animal welfare.
