Calling out to all cat lovers and the friends and lovers of cat lovers!
An urgent appeal...
I once had a decent job that paid a decent wage and began a cat sanctuary.
That area became too dangerous for the cats, so I moved them to the country.
I have provided and donated the property for the Castaway Cats Sanctuary. The entire place has been dedicated and devoted to the cats so they have a safe, sheltered place to live and eat.
I am only ever a guest at their sanctuary. I do whatever I can to maintain the place, but it is not enough. I need two or three crew to help me every other day, but I do not have the funds.
I used to earn enough to cover expenses but lost my weekday job. To make matters worse, selling my former villa was supposed to easily cover the purchase of the new property and leave me with a few thousand dollars, which I was also going to use for the cats.
However, a terrible and forced real estate deal left me $20,000 in debt and unable to pay.
Luckily, I still have my weekend job, but I need to bring in another $2000 per month. I have been searching for and am searching for another job. I'm a writer and an editor. I can write or edit anything, and I mean anything.
Some people tell me I need to get rid of the cats. How does one simply "get rid" of cats desperately needing a place to stay?
Listen, I know that my life would be much less complicated and easy without them, but someone has to give them a safe place, medical care, and food, and I don't see many people stepping up to devote THEIR properties to cats. So I am here for all the cats I can help.
