En parallèle à sa carrière de chanteuse lyrique, Angela est arrivée en 2000 en République Dominicaine où depuis, elle met son savoir-faire au service des
chevaux et des hommes dans toute l’île. En arrivant en république dominicaine Angela co

mmence à soigner des chevaux, sous alimentés, battus, maltraités parfois même violés. Pour les recueillir et les soigner, il faut une structure: La fondation est née. Une fois soignés, il faut les rétablir, en établissant une complicité. Angela d’une main douce et experte fait des miracles avec chaque cheval qui lui est apporté et les résulats sont incroyables au point que même certains pur sang considérés «indomptables» deviennent dossiles et cela sans cravache. AIDER LE FINANCEMENT

La fondation n’a pas pour but de faire des bénéfices, mais elle a besoin d’argent pour nourrir chaque jour la trentaine de chevaux, pour acheter le matériel médical, mais aussi pour maintenir le ranch en état, payer les factures et les innombrables imprévus tout en continuant à payer à temps les employés qui s’occupent de la manade 24h/24 et 7 jours sur 7. Angela llegó en 2000 en Republica dominicana desde hace, en paralela de su carera de cantante lirica, ella desarolló un metodo natural de comunicarse con los caballos. Angela empezó a salvar caballos passando ambre, maltratados, abandonados aveces violados. Para acogerlos y curados se necesitaba una estructura : Nació la fundación. Cuando se termina la parte fisica de la cura del caballo maltratado, queda lo mas dificil, que es la reabilitación psicolagica. Devolverle su dignidad y su confianza en el mismo y mas, en el ser human. Con dulzura y amor Angela hace milagro con cada caballo, sin golpearlos, dejandolos su tiempo para volver a una vida normal. La fundación no tiene fine de lucro, pero necesita dineros para alimentar diario como trenta caballos, comprar medicinas, mentener el rancho en buen estado, pagar las facturas y pagar los sueldos de los empleados que trabajan en la fundación.

Mama Ninah & Foal Ninoah Are Ready for Their Forever Home!

After three months of love, care, and healing, Mama Ninah and her foal Ninoah are healthy, happy, and thriving—and now it’s time to find them a forever home together.

Ninah, who came to us pregnant and in desperate need of care, has made a full recovery alongside sweet Ninoah, whose wounds were severe and required urgent, intensive treatment. They’ve formed an unbreakable bond, and we are committed to keeping this little family together.

We are now accepting applications for adoption! The ideal home will meet our adoption requirements, provide a safe and loving environment, and offer a participation donation to support our ongoing rescue efforts through the foundation.

At Singing Horse Foundation, the health, wellness, and happiness of our horses are our top priority. Unlike others, we take a proactive approach to hoof health, gastric care, and overall well-being, ensuring our horses receive the highest standard of care every single day.

Our Story

PRESIDENT & FOUNDER : ANGELA GRIFO CRUZ Singing Horse Foundation/el Caballo Cantante is a nonprofit association created by its president, Angela Grifo Cruz. When Angela arrived in the Dominican Republic, she began to treat horses, underfed, beaten, abused and sometimes even r***d. To collect and care for them, you need a structure: The foundation is born.

The foundations goals: to provide a safe secure environment for rescue horses on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic; providing salvation and rehabilitation for abandoned, injured and abused horses. Singing Horse Foundation provides, medical, physical and psychological care in the hopes to later find them new loving homes and caretakers.

Once they have been treated, they must be restored, by establishing complicity. Angela with a gentle and expert hand works miracles with every horse brought to her and the results are incredible to the point that even some thoroughbreds considered "indomitable" become jerseys and this without a riding crop.
