This rate is based on maximum of 24-hours plus 1 hour grace period on the last day if you are traveling. There is no grace period if you are not traveling. After 25 hours, charges for daycare will apply.
Discount: If a dog stays more than 30 days: $300 first month (30 days) and $270/month thereafter ($9/day).

Please let us know if you want your dog to lose some weight. Many of our pets are fed more than they should be and we don't have a problem with helping them to eat less and exercise more. Kindly measure the amount that you feed your dog and tell us (in writing) the measurement and whether they are used to eating one or two times per day. We feed our pets breakfast and dinner, but not all pets are fed in this manner. If your dog is a "grazer", you might want to try to get him /her used to eating two meals a day before coming to stay with us. Due to the number of dogs in our care, we are unable to leave food dishes sitting around.

Dogs not housebroken, $1 more per day.

Dogs who require medication are $1 more per day. Medication instructions need to be provided in writing, not verbally. I do not give shots.

Special requirements/rules
*Daycare, boarding, non-housebroken and medication fees must be paid when you drop off your pet.
*Dogs must be vaccinated, etc.
*Dogs picked up off the street must be given a clean bill of health by a vet, vaccinated, bathed and treated for parasites.
*Dogs who are not housebroken and/or eat furniture or cords are not welcome in the house or they will be crated and/or stay in one of the outdoor kennels at all times.
*If a dog is anti-social and/or a danger to other boarders, I will need to know ahead of time as it will have to be kept separate from others and we will have to schedule individual exercise time for that animal.
*Each animal must have a collar or harness on when dropped off and a leash left with us.
*We do not take females in heat and prefer that animals are spayed or neutered. If they are not, we will need to know ahead of time so that I can plan ahead.
*Toys should be left at home as this is a leading cause of fights between animals. An exception will be made for puppies since they usually feel the need to chew on something. I would prefer it be a toy that you provide rather than my furniture, cords, etc. This said, ask me beforehand as there are times when your pet will be the only boarder and toys will not be a problem.
*Kindly clip or have your dog's nails clipped before it is dropped off.

Facilities
*The house and yards are surrounded by an eight-foot block wall. *We have a barrier fence/gate between the front yard and the gate to the street.
*We have two large outdoor fenced kennels (one on concrete and one on grass); however, animals are encouraged to run free in the yard and the back door is usually left open so that they can come and go at will into the house.
The front and back yards are separated by gates and we have a third yard (also separated by gates and fencing) when the casita is not rented.

We have plenty of crates, bedding, food and water dishes. If you think your pet will be happier with his/her own bed and/or bedding, please feel free to bring.

We try to be flexible, but reservations are a must because "when it rains, it pours". We don't post hours that you may drop off and pick up your dog. Pets need to be picked up by 6:00 p.m. as that is the time I start preparing dinner. Feel free to ask me whether a certain time will be good for us, but kindly remember that although we live here, we also deserve some time to ourselves.

Please write down contact information, your vet of choice and someone who can take your dog to the vet should something happen to it or who will keep your dog should something happen to you.

If you have any other questions, concerns, or would like to make a firm reservation, please let us know. Email is the only way to guarantee a reservation as I have a Reservations file there. Telephone calls, Facebook messages or trying to talk to me at the Farmers' Market don't work well.

Thanks so much,

Terri

Family Board & Care for Your Pets

We offer pet boarding & daycare in a home setting. We treat your pet as a member of our family. We do not post business hours as we try to be flexible (within reason) on the times you may drop off and pick up your pets.

This is the information that I provide to all new clients. Costs (To be paid upon drop-off of pet) Doggie day camp: $5/day (ten hour maximum) per dog. No discount for more than one dog. May include one meal. Daily (over ten hours)/Overnight: $7 per dog includes dog food. No discount for more than one dog. This rate is based on maximum of 24-hours plus 2 hour grace period on the last day if you have been traveling. After 26 hours, charges for daycare will apply. Discount: If your dog stays for a month or more: $210 first 30 days and $180/each 30 days thereafter ($6/day). Large dogs are $1 more per day as they tend to eat more. Let us know if you want your dog to lose some weight. Many of our pets are fed more than they should be and we don't have a problem with helping them to eat less and exercise more. We dp not currently offer dog walking. Dogs not housebroken, $1 per accident. Dogs who require medication are also $1 more per day. We do not give shots.

Special requirements/rules Daycare, boarding, walking, non-housebroken and medication fees must be paid when you drop off your pet. Dogs must be vaccinated, etc. Dogs picked up off the street must be given a clean bill of health by a vet, vaccinated, bathed and treated for parasites before delivery to our facility. Obviously, we do not want any animals here that have communicable diseases. Dogs who are not housebroken and/or eat furniture or cords are not welcome in the house or they will be crated or stay in the back yard and/or one of the outdoor kennels at all times. If a dog is anti-social and/or a danger to other boarders, we are unable to board them. Each animal must have a collar or harness on when dropped off and a leash left with me. We do not take females in heat and prefer that animals are spayed or neutered. If they are not, I will need to know ahead of time so that I can plan ahead. Toys should be left at home as this is a leading cause of fights between animals. This said, ask me beforehand as there are times when your pet will be the only boarder and toys will not be a problem.

Facilities Our property (both house and yard) is surrounded by an eight-foot block wall. There is a barrier wall/gate between my front yard and the gate to the street. We have three large outdoor fenced kennels (one on concrete, one on grass, and one on gravel); however, animals are encouraged to run free in the yard and the front door is usually left open so that they can come and go at will into the house. We have plenty of crates, bedding, food and water dishes. If you think your pet will be happier with his/her own bed and/or bedding, dishes, etc., please feel free to bring.
