We offer pet boarding & daycare in a home setting. We treat your pet as a member of our family. We do not post business hours as we try to be flexible (within reason) on the times you may drop off and pick up your pets.
This is the information that I provide to all new clients. Costs (To be paid upon drop-off of pet) Doggie day camp: $5/day (ten hour maximum) per dog. No discount for more than one dog. May include one meal. Daily (over ten hours)/Overnight: $7 per dog includes dog food. No discount for more than one dog. This rate is based on maximum of 24-hours plus 2 hour grace period on the last day if you have been traveling. After 26 hours, charges for daycare will apply. Discount: If your dog stays for a month or more: $210 first 30 days and $180/each 30 days thereafter ($6/day). Large dogs are $1 more per day as they tend to eat more. Let us know if you want your dog to lose some weight. Many of our pets are fed more than they should be and we don't have a problem with helping them to eat less and exercise more. We dp not currently offer dog walking. Dogs not housebroken, $1 per accident. Dogs who require medication are also $1 more per day. We do not give shots.
Special requirements/rules Daycare, boarding, walking, non-housebroken and medication fees must be paid when you drop off your pet. Dogs must be vaccinated, etc. Dogs picked up off the street must be given a clean bill of health by a vet, vaccinated, bathed and treated for parasites before delivery to our facility. Obviously, we do not want any animals here that have communicable diseases. Dogs who are not housebroken and/or eat furniture or cords are not welcome in the house or they will be crated or stay in the back yard and/or one of the outdoor kennels at all times. If a dog is anti-social and/or a danger to other boarders, we are unable to board them. Each animal must have a collar or harness on when dropped off and a leash left with me. We do not take females in heat and prefer that animals are spayed or neutered. If they are not, I will need to know ahead of time so that I can plan ahead. Toys should be left at home as this is a leading cause of fights between animals. This said, ask me beforehand as there are times when your pet will be the only boarder and toys will not be a problem.
Facilities Our property (both house and yard) is surrounded by an eight-foot block wall. There is a barrier wall/gate between my front yard and the gate to the street. We have three large outdoor fenced kennels (one on concrete, one on grass, and one on gravel); however, animals are encouraged to run free in the yard and the front door is usually left open so that they can come and go at will into the house. We have plenty of crates, bedding, food and water dishes. If you think your pet will be happier with his/her own bed and/or bedding, dishes, etc., please feel free to bring. We try to be flexible, but reservations are good idea because "when it rains, it pours". Also, please write down contact information, your vet of choice and someone who can take your dog to the vet should something happen to it or who will keep your dog should something happen to you.
