Salivary Mucocele is one of the most common disease of salivary gland .. the cause of salivary gland mucocele is usually not definitively identified but trauma at the neck region is suspected cause .. cervical and sublingual mucocele are presented together in this case .. Treatment consists of removal of the mandibular salivary gland with marsupialization of the ranula .. the case had a good recovery 3 weeks post operative .

Ectopic Mummified Fetus:
LUCKY.. A rescue cat presented for us for a regular check up .. A lateral abdominal radiograph revealed a large calcified intraabdominal mass suspected to be a mummified fetus .. During exploratory surgery two fetus were detected in the abdomen one attached to omentum and 2nd between two intestinal loop couldn't be resected without removing a part from the intestine .. resection anastomosis was done then spaying .. the cat recovered well with no complication.

لازم تاخد بالك من أسنان حيوانك الأليف!
لأن تراكم الجير تحت اللثة مش بس هيصيب الأسنان ويسبب التهابات في اللثة، لا ده ممكن كمان بيسبب مشاكل صحية للقلب والكلى والرئة لو الباكتيريا والبلاك دخلت مجرى الدم.
علشان كده لازم يكون فيه زيارة دورية لطبيبك البيطري للإطمئنان على صحة أسنان أليفك.
