𝗧𝗵𝗲 #𝗙𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗲𝗶𝗻: 𝗡𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀

Plant-based fish refers to a type of seafood alternative that is made entirely from plant-based ingredients instead of actual fish. It is designed to mimic the taste, texture, and appearance of real fish while providing a sustainable and cruelty-free alternative for those who follow a vegetarian, vegan, or plant-based diet.

It's worth noting that the development of plant-based fish is a growing field, and the available products vary in terms of taste, texture, and overall quality. As the industry continues to innovate, the range of plant-based fish options is expected to expand, providing more diverse and improved alternatives to conventional seafood. Burger patties, fillets, crumbles & grounds, chunks & tips, cutlets, shreds, tenders & fingers, strips, and meatballs are some of the types of plant-based fish products available in the market.

Innovation in plant-based fish is advancing rapidly, focusing on mimicking traditional seafood's taste, texture, and nutrition. Companies are using techniques like biomimicry and 3D printing to create realistic textures, while ingredients like microalgae and seaweed enhance flavor and nutritional value. Fortification with omega-3s and vitamins ensures health benefits.

Market expansion includes a variety of products like tuna, salmon, and sushi, made more accessible through reduced costs and collaborations between seafood companies and startups, driving the future of sustainable seafood alternatives.

𝗔 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗶𝗱𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 #𝗶𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 #𝗽𝗼𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝘆

1. A lack of protein and amino acids in the diet disrupts the body's immune system and increases the body's sensitivity to infectious challenges or exposure to stressful conditions. New research has been conducted on the relationship between amino acids and immune system function.

2. Amino acids play a role in regulating the activity of T lymphocytes, B lymphocytes, natural killer cells, and macrophages, and cause improvement in the redox state, cell reduction and lymphocyte proliferation, and also increase the production of antibodies and cytokinins.

3. Methionine is considered one of the most important amino acids that limit growth in broiler chickens that feed on corn and soybeans. Therefore, the needs of methionine and all amino acids that contain sulfur are used to improve the immune system and improve growth. Methionine supplementation in chickens infected with Newcastle virus enhances T-cell proliferation, immunoglobulin (IgG) secretion, leukocyte migration and antibody titers.

4. Taurine, which arises from the metabolism of sulfur amino acids, is a powerful antioxidant and is considered the most abundant free amino acid in lymphocytes and causes a decrease in the production of cytokines and prostaglandin E to initiate inflammation.

5. Lysine is a key amino acid for protein synthesis, muscle growth, cytokine synthesis, and lymphocyte proliferation, and thus plays a role in the optimal functioning of the immune system against chicken infections.

6. Chickens cannot produce arginine, and therefore depend on its supply through food. L-arginine has a major role in the immune response of chickens against the production of nitric oxide (ND) by macrophages, antitumor properties, increased lymphocyte weight, and increased ratio of heterophils to lymphocytes in response to viral infection. Research shows that the need for arginine in young chickens is mainly for the optimal functioning of the immune system and its importance rather than a matter of maximizing growth or food production.

7. Threonine is one of the main components of gammaglobulin in animal blood plasma. Dietary consumption of threonine is also effective on the components of the immune system of animals. Although there is no specific report on the importance of threonine on the immune system of birds, tretinoine is considered the third limiting amino acid.

8. It is known that the branched amino acids valine, leucine, and isoleucine play a role in the organs involved in the body’s immunity. However, it is difficult to examine the individual effects of each.

9. Finally, the fact that glutamine regulates the glutathione ester plays a role in defense against oxidative stress and is important for the production of purine and pyrimidine nucleotides for lymphocyte proliferation. The attached table shows a summary of the role of amino acids in the body’s immune response.

Adding microorganisms (beneficial bacteria) to the feed changes the microbial balance and reduces the colonization of undesirable or harmful bacteria in the digestive system of poultry. The different types of beneficial microbes and bacteria that have been used as probiotics include:

● Bacillus.

● Bifidobacterium.

● Enterococcus.

● Escherichia coli.

● Lactobacillus.

● Lactococcus.

● Streptococcus.

● And different types of yeasts.

○ For your information, there has been ongoing research in this aspect for years to produce the best types of probiotics entitled Growth Promoters, which have been used during different ages. Some companies in Denmark even recommend giving probiotics in a spray form to the hatched chicks in the hatchery after the chicks emerge, so that they are prepared in frozen form. It is then melted and sprayed, with impressive results. Some advised giving it at 21 days of the chicks’ life, while most researchers and specialists support the first opinion, that is, from the beginning of life.

♡ The important technical point in this aspect is choosing the appropriate product from a reputable and reliable company and knowing how to use it and add it to either water or feed so that it gives the best results.

Here are my top 10 tips:

1️⃣ Add a Title:

Start your CV with a title that aligns with the job you're targeting.

This immediately tells the hiring manager that you are a relevant candidate.

2️⃣ Highlight Relevant Skills:

Ensure that your CV prominently displays the skills relevant to the job.

For an FP&A role, your budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis skills should be in the spotlight... but don't list it as skill without explanation, rather, say how you demonstrated these skills.

For example: "streamlined the budget process by reducing the number of iterations from 5 versions to 3 versions" or "performed an analysis on profitability which highlighted the need to increase the price of product X by 5% to maximize the profitability"

3️⃣ Quantify Achievements:

Show your impact through numbers.

Rather than saying "reduced month end close time," say "reduced month end close by 2 days" .

4️⃣ Use Action Verbs:

Begin bullet points with action verbs like "managed," "developed," or "implemented."

This shows you're proactive and saves space.

5️⃣ Tailor Your CV:

No two jobs are the same, and neither should be your CVs.

Tailor your CV to match the job description and requirements.

6️⃣ Keep It Concise:

In most cases, your CV should be no longer than two pages.

Prioritize information that adds value to your application.

7️⃣ Proofread:

Small errors can suggest a lack of attention to detail.

Proofread thoroughly and have someone else review it too.

I have read so many CVs with obvious mistakes which disqualified the applicant.

Remember Finance is a job where attention for details is important 😉

8️⃣ Formatting Matters:

Keep your formatting minimalistic and consistent.

Proof check tabulation, bullet point styles, break lines, font sizes etc.

9️⃣ Software Skills:

Be specific with your software skills.

Instead of mentioning "Advanced Excel skills", highlight your abilities to perform Financial Modeling, create Pivot Tables, or use Advanced Formulas.

🔟 Focus on Recent Experiences:

Spend more space detailing your last two roles and be more succinct with earlier ones.

Recency often matters most to hiring managers.

The backbone of animal protein, this is how poultry meat is called, as it is the most available and the most affordable among the animal proteins🐔.

there is an increase in poultry farming worldwide and a sharp rise in global consumption, whether for meat or eggs.
as they are easily digestible proteins with high nutritional value, reasonable price, less water consumption and more environmentally friendly, this is how we see it through the eyes of environmental experts.

Our mission at Vaccine Valley is to protect this industry from any biological risk by developing innovative solutions to overcome the epidemiological challenges of the poultry industry.

On World Poultry Day, here is the annual per capita consumption of poultry meat in some countries📊.
