As a Summary of today....We successfully completed our South Transhumance ride in early November, following the ancient Cañadas Reales to uphold the Spanish tradition of seasonally moving livestock. The rest of the horses are now being transported from the snowy Sierra de Gredos to Trujillo, our base for the winter and early spring.
We operate in both regions, 200km distance, with our own hombred horses:

👉 In EXTREMADURA in Winter and early Spring, from MARCH to MAY. Our most popular rides here:

👉In SIERRA DE GREDOS, late Spring, Summer and Autumn base. Our most popular rides here: "CASTLES OF GREDOS" and "GREDOS TO SALAMANCA"

👉 And our ride in 9 days/ 8 nights/ 7 riding days joining our two bases from Sierra de Gredos to Extremadura, following the ancient Cañadas Reales (royal drove roads), we keep practicing with our horses living in two different places with them, our TRANSHUMANCE RIDE!!

WINTER BREAK from the groups on holidays but still busy with horses! We are currently training our young, homebred horses and preparing them for the upcoming season! I am particularly focused on working with ORO, a beautiful, entire PRE horse. He is one of the sons of Dedicada, whom many of you will remember as a wonderfully spirited mare on our trail rides. Oro has already had a filly, RIFEÑA (also PRE) so the Jerebeque family continues to grow! 😍

Winter break for all of us!
We operate in two distinct regions of Spain, Sierra de Gredos and Extremadura, utilizing our own homebred PRE (Pure Spanish Horse) horses. Our horses graze in Extremadura during the winter and early spring and return to the summer pastures in Sierra de Gredos for the summer and autumn months. So we all live in 2 different location keeping a old tradition in our country (Transhumance), we will move all of them to Extremadura soon!! To start the season there, we already have confirmed departures:
