FRED
Well what can we say about Fred. He's a handsome, loving boy full of life, who loves everyone.
Fred is a medium sized boy (spaniel size) around 13/14 kilos, loves people, and gets on well with other dogs.
Fred is house trained and walks well on a lead.
Not cat tested.
Fred is currently in a foster home in the UK (Glastonbury), and would love a home of his own, with a secure garden. Fred would be happy as an only dog providing he's not left for hours alone or with another dog.

URGENT FOSTER HOME NEEDED
Meet Bailey, a 4 year little podenco weighing just 6 kilos.
Through no fault of her own or her family Bailey is in need of a foster home. Will consider adoption.
Bailey is fully vaccinated, spayed, walks well on a lead, adores people, hates cats. Bailey would happily be an only dog as she loves the attention, but as you can see can live with another dog.
Bailey is currently in Gloucestershire.

Once he knows you he'll follow you everywhere a real velco dog.
Tango ideal home would be an active one, plus plenty of out door fun and a sofa to curl up with you each night watching tv.
He's loves going out in the car, good with other dogs, adores people and children.
Tango is 3 yrs old, fully vaccinated, castrated, micro chipped, and has his very own passport. Tango has tested positive for leish which is controlled by tablets.

BODIE
This is Bodie, he had an adoption in the UK but unfortunately since he’s been with me it’s become apparent he’s not good with cats, so he can’t go.
Bodie is an 8 yr old bodaguero cross, he’s been dumped in the pound TWICE 🥺
He’s good in the car, on the lead, housetrained. NO CATS OR SMALL FURRIES. He’s good with other dogs but would be happier as an only dog so he can be spoiled rotten in his latter years.
He has tested positive for leish, which is controlled by tablets.
He is a very sweet boy and would make a great companion for an older person. He weighs around 6 kilos.

ADOPTED
APOLLO

Apollo is currently in foster in Spain but sadly they leave the country for work at the beginning of February. We really would like to get him adopted before then otherwise he will come back to an outside pen at the rescue.

This boy has thrived being in a home. In a different life his fosters would keep him but they travel for work a lot and it’s just not possible.

They’ve done a lot of training with him but he needs a home that will continue this, he’s VERY ball focused and because of this we don’t feel a home with younger children is appropriate, he WILL knock your kids flying to get to a ball or toy.

He is not good around cats or small furries.

He is OK around dogs although bigger dogs bother him but he’s working on his attitude. Ideally we would like to home him as an only dog as he lives for people.

Apollo is a very ’busy’ malinois so breed experience is preferable but not a deal breaker. He is not a first time dog because of his breed.

We would consider a working home, as he loves work but ABSOLUTELY NO KENNELLING! He becomes extremely stressed in a kennel environment and he is good in the house.

There must be someone out there who can open their hearts and home to this gorgeous boy. He is currently in Malaga, Spain but can travel. He is chipped, vaccinated and neutered. Leish negative but will be tested again before travel.

HAROLD
This cheeky chappie is Harold and he is looking for a home of his own. Harold is approx 8 months old, small terrier type. Full of fun and mischief, well he is just a baby.
Harold would love a home with someone around most of the time, to have the time to teach him doggie etiquette. Another dog would be great but equally could be an only dog.
Harold is currently in Southern Spain but is ready to travel.

CARMEN
Meet sweet little Carmen, an older podenco maneto lady of 8 years old. Looking for her very own home.
Carmen doesn't like cats or rabbits or chickens, she gets on ok with other dogs so long as they aren't too bouncy or busy. She can be a bit bossy. Carmen loves going in the car and was no trouble at all at the vets.
She loves her food and to race around for an older lady she is very energetic. She is spayed and fully vaccinated.

BONNIE
Bonnie the smiley Mastin. Bonnie is a lovely lady 4 yrs old and Mother of Tilly. Pictured here with Henry. All three were discarded by their previous owner, who threaten to shot them because they stayed close to the only place they knew as home.
Whilst we'd love Bonnie and Henry to find a home together we realise that is an impossible ask. If you are tempted there is a reduction in adoption fees for taking them both. They have been in private kennels for 18 months now which is no life for such noble dogs.
Bonnie would love a rural/semi rural location with a garden. No young children due to her size. Bonnie has not been cat tested.
We will consider a foster home

The handsome fellow is Henry, father to Tilly and was deemed worthless by his previous owner.
Henry is 4 yrs old and a Spanish Mastin a gentle giant.
Henry would love to be out of kennels and have his own family. He doesn't ask for much a secure garden in a rural/semi rural location, someone to love him and take him out and about.
Henry is in Spain but is ready to travel.

TILLY
Tilly, a 2 year old (Born Jan 2022) Spanish mastin. Whose owner turned her and her parents Henry and Bonnie out onto the streets, because they didn't wander and stayed close to where there home was he threaten to shoot them. We stepped up early 2023 and they became OGE Dogs. All three are still in private kennels.
We would love Tilly to have a home of her own rural/semi rural where she can go out for walks, or just chill out in her own garden. Tilly gets on well with other dogs and older children due to her size. She hasn't been cat tested.
Tilly has now spent more of her life in kennels, and so deserves a home of her own.

CANDELA
Say Hi to Candela, the Mum to our youngsters - Diego, Dahlia, Hilda and Lewis. She has the most usual colouring and would certainly turn heads when out and about.
Candela is around 2/3 years old and was a young Mum. Candela is a working sheep dog so will need an active home with both mental and physical stimulation such as fly ball, agility scent work.
Candela loves people, is terrified of thunder/loud bangs. She is good with other dogs and older children (8 yrs +).
Candela is ready to travel to the right home.

MATEO
This beautiful boy who was so stressed in kennels that his weight plummeted is now ready for a home and family of his own.
Malinois experience if possible but would consider experience of similar big breed/working breed.
He needs an active home, happy for him to be a working dog, he enjoys it and is very focused.
NO KENNELS! This is why we helped him in the first place, he gets very stressed in kennels and drops weight.
He can live as an only dog if he has people around. If he were to live with another dog then you would need to ensure you had space to separate the dogs while you introduce them and he will resource guard so no treats/toys unless in separate areas.
He LOVES people. Another reason why kennels is a no no, he likes to be around his humans.
Potential adopters need to be prepared to work with him, he’s very food oriented.
No cats, small furries or chickens and he needs to be on a lead around livestock (all dogs should be but I know he will chase and potentially bite as he went after our pigs 🫣)
Mateo is a 4 year old male neutered, chipped and vaccinated, negative to Mediterranean diseases but will leish test again before travel abroad. Currently in Malaga, Spain but can travel. RBU in place.

BB is a young podenco cross, medium size, 2 years old. BB is a shy boy but soon comes out of his when he knows you. He adores children. BB has a high prey drive, so a secure garden is a must.
BB would love to have another dog around (smaller) to help his confidence.

ROMA
You may recall over a year ago we rescued not one but two sets of collie pups we always knew we were missing one, well here she is. Meet Roma loving playful great with other dogs now a year old.
Roma loves to be around people, an active home with another dog would be perfect, but she is happy to be an only dog so long as she could meet up with play mates.
Roma would need a secure garden, no cats children over 5 years as she is very bouncy.
