We have been really overwhelmed by everyone’s support and kindness and we can't thank you all enough for sharing and spreading the word about these little pups - it really does make all the difference in finding them homes!
🥳Some brilliant news to report that some of you may have seen- Freya has already found her forever home! We've had quite a few enquiries about adoption and fostering for the others too, which we're following up. That said, we still need to find homes for the remaining little ones, so please do keep sharing their stories!

Our volunteer Anne has given us an update on how they're getting on:
"They are generally doing fine ☺️ Only seen them twice (Sunday and Monday), so can't assess them properly yet. They're all very curious and will come to you inside their pen, but are still quite shy and insecure when they leave their familiar surroundings. Started lead training today with Milo and Nova. I'll try to stay a bit longer with them on Wednesday and focus on them to try and assess them better 🍀❤️"

💙𝐁𝐀𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐘💙 - 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐞
Bailey is a gorgeous lovable lad who needs a forever home. He’s been with us too long and has been continually overlooked.

What is there not to love about him? He’s full of happiness and positivity. He really enjoys going for walkies. He’s really pleased to have company but equally can happliy amuse himself sniffing out all the wonderful smells! He’s quite partial to the odd treat too so can be easily trained! He’s really not asking for much just someone to love him and in return he will be there for you and will be your best friend for all his days, so come on what are you waiting for? Yes at last! Mission accomplished! All 7 puppies are now at our kennels safe from harm and under our wing. We couldn’t just rescue the pods and 2 of the other pups and leave the others behind - we wouldn’t be able to live with ourselves knowing the treacherous conditions they were living in.

🙏Amy & Nathan Need Homes🙏
It’s great they have each other to keep one another company but what they’d really love is a forever family of their own.
♥️Nathan♥️ is nearly 6 years old now and has been waiting for several years for his lucky break. Poor lad's come close to finding his forever home a few times - let's hope it's third time lucky for this gorgeous boy!
🩷Amy🩷 is a sweet older girl at about 6.5 years old. Bit rubbish having to live in kennels at her age, isn't it? She should be curled up on someone's warm bed by now, properly spoiled and loved like she deserves.

🙏♥️Rescued & Safe♥️🙏

You may have seen our recent desperate appeals about puppies being kept in dangerous and awful conditions (attached links below) Well we are so, so relieved that yesterday we managed to bring 2 little girls back to the safety of our kennels. We’ve named them 🌼Daisy and Nova🌌. They are absolute little darlings - a little confused and unsure at the moment but that’s understandable. We are sure that in a few days they’ll be just fine, especially with all the love, snuggles, cuddles and tickles they’ll get from our wonderful volunteers. ♥️

We’ll keep you updated about their progress in the coming days.

🐾❣️We got the red carpet out for COOKIE hoping it will lead her to a Forever Home! ❣️🐾

🙏𝙿𝙻𝙴𝙰𝚂𝙴 𝚂𝙷𝙰𝚁𝙴🙏

Meet Cookie, our gorgeous girl who, despite having so much interest, hasn't found her special someone yet. She's been with us for nearly two years now and will be turning 3 this September.
When we rescued Cookie, she was just a pup herself and had likely just had her own litter. We sorted her spaying straightaway, and during her recovery, she formed a right strong bond with Paul. Took us a little while to get her comfortable with other volunteers as she only had eyes for him at first!

Since then, she's come on no end - she's shared her kennel with Colin and now Chester. She's got a soft spot for our youngsters too, showing off those motherly skills she picked up when she was barely out of puppyhood herself.

Cookie's an absolute delight on walks and has mastered sitting for treats. She enjoys a fuss and a cuddle - loves her kisses too! Not one for massive hikes or anything like that - just gentle walkies and a good run about in a secure garden suits her down to the ground.

She'd be brilliant as an only dog or perhaps with another young pup for company. We're desperate to find Cookie the loving home she deserves after all this time.

✨ 𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐁𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧 - 𝐋𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐚 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 ✨
🙏𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐒𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐄🙏
How could you not resist our gentle, handsome boy Branston? This gorgeous collie/retriever mix (about 4 years old, 30kg) has come such a long way since his rescue in January 2023.

The last few months at our kennels have helped bring him on a treat. He's made friends with several of our other dogs. He goes out walking regularly now on a lead with our volunteers which one upon a time he would have dreaded but now absolutely loves it😍While he's still building confidence with other day to day stuff in particular car journeys, his progress has been brilliant.
Branston would definitely thrive in a home with outdoor space as he loves being outside. Though he enjoys having the company of other dogs he could also be happy as an only dog with enough human love and attention. Due to his sensitive nature, we recommend a home without small children.
The perfect home for Branston would offer experience, patience, and plenty of love to help this affectionate boy continue blossoming into the confident dog we know he can be.
