💋Cookie loves kisses💋

Who would have thought it possible that Cookie had this affectionate side to her when she was rescued over a year ago 😮

It’s no wonder really as she had probably lost all trust in mankind when she was found lying in the road on a local urbanisation! It looked as though she had probably been a mother to pups, possibly several times during her short life🥲.

Just over a year on in our care she’s a different dog. She loves our volunteers as you can see from the beautiful pictures here😍. She’s a little fussy about who she shares her kennel with but she did get along really well with Colin and now shares with the lovely Chester.

We think that she would probably be happier in a home where she’s the only dog getting all the fuss and attention.♥️

Cookie enjoys her walks with our volunteers and is used to being on a lead.

Cookie is just over 2 years old now and it really is her time now to find her new family. 🏡

😍🐾SUPER SNAPS🐾😍

Here’s just a few gorgeous pictures recently captured by our lovely volunteer Judith. Here we have Taz and Branston getting lots of fuss from Anne, Kieron, Nicky and Sue. We cannot thank all of our volunteers enough they are totally dedicated to ensuring our dogs get walks, cuddles and social time which is essential to their happiness and well being. It also helps them no end in preparing them for their happy ever after homes. 🏡

♥️🐾Choko & Macy🐾♥️

We have some gorgeous photos and a video to share with you of our latest rescues who we took under our wing on 30 December.

Choko is the German Pointer and Macy is the Malinois Shepherd.

We are still assessing them and gathering more information about their characters and circumstances - we will post more about this gorgeous pair in the coming days.

Macy was found abandoned at Saladillo near Camposol, she’s approximately 18 months old but could be slightly younger.

Choko was rescued from the Sierra Espuna and we will know more about his age once we have taken him to our vets.

What we can tell you so far from our volunteer Anne is

« We took them for a walk, then to calm down a bit to the 'arc', both went in there, very curious. And then we let them run in the new fenced field, as weren't sure if they would come back 😅 They were both very good and came back to us each time for treats...lovely 🥰 Choko is a bit jumpy, but learns fast, so we all need to work on keeping his 4 paws on the floor 🍀❤️

Both off lead in the field, they stayed closer than expected, sweethearts 😅🥰

Choko can be quite vocal but that’s probably because it’s all new to him. He has been very well behaved and sociable with all the other dogs he has met too.

It’s early days for them but with the help of all our wonderful volunteers we hope to have them forever home ready as soon as possible.

It’s also quite possible that someone might recognise Macy and we remain hopeful that we might be able to reunite her with her owner🙏🤞

✨♥️✨TOMY✨♥️✨

We are still searching for a home for this wonderful boy Tomy.

💎He is a real gem waiting to be discovered. He is a dream dog, super sociable with dogs and hoomans - he’s a real favourite♥️

He’s so well behaved on and off lead and learns quickly. He loves to play ball and tug with his rope.

He’s been to our volunteers apartment for a few hours and he didn’t put a paw wrong! We think he is the perfect dog❣️

He has been waiting for several years now and we think it’s time he had a home and forever family. If you want to know more about this gorgeous boy Tomy please get in touch with us we’d love to hear from you. Why not arrange a date to come and meet Tomy and see for yourself how lovely he is😍

♥️Harrison Update♥️
He’s doing so well with his new forever family. This is the message sent to Gilly recently along with this beautiful photo of him snuggled up to his forever sister ❣️

« Hi Gilly. A quick post-Xmas update on Harri. He was such a good boy - we were really proud of him🥰. He was fine with the visiting dogs, even sharing a bed with my Mum’s elderly terrier! He met lots of dogs on the beach without incident and raced around with my sister’s dog in the secure field. He settles really well indoors and has found his favourite spot in front of the fire! He’s a happy boy who seems to be loving life. We hope you had a good Christmas too. »

✨NEW YEARS WISH✨
🏡A HOME FOR TOMY🏡

Here’s the gorgeous Tomy and his chums Harley, Diego and Georgie playing with our lovely volunteers Steve and Graham.

Can you believe how our pups have grown! They are 7 months old now and are looking forward to moving into their new home later this month with their forever family. Harley hasn’t got much longer to wait either until he is reunited with his new mummy and new forever home.

🏡Now all we need to do is make sure our happy-go-lucky, fun, loving boy Tomy gets his New Years Wish of a home of his own too🤞🏡.
