💙 Cruz 💙 This handsome and super friendly boy is waiting a long time in the shelter and nobody sees him for what a wonderful dog he is. Is it because he's black? Is it because he's shy when he meets new people? Why are black dogs always the last ones? He is 2.5 years old. Cruz is very friendly, yes he's shy when he meets new people but with lots of love and some patience he will be your best friend. He loves to cuddle and play ball with you. Unfortunately Baloo cant stay with his owners anymore 😰 This beautiful German Shepherd cross was adopted last year when he was a puppy. He is now 1 year and 2 months old and looking for a new home. Update Rey, unfortunately he is not doing well at all. The last two days he was not eating and very flat again. He had a second blood transfusion. a new blood test showed us that his leishmania has affected his kidneys but more severely, his bone marrow. It's not producing blood cells so it's a very serious condition. Treatment has been started and we are watching closely if his body responds but the prognosis isn't good unfortunately.
It's heartbreaking to see that he wants to fight but his body refuses.

A big thank you to everyone who braved the chilly weather 🥶 & supported yesterday's book fair. As well as selling a lot of 📚, we were also given a very generous donation from one of our loyal supporters who's birthday it is today 🥳. She kindly asked friends for cash donations for the cats in lieu of presents 😍😻😇. With Scotty's having a much-deserved break during February, we'll be back with more books on March 11th 🐾📚🐈

This beautiful puppy girl is the last one of the soda puppies. We had 11 of them🤣🙈💩 All of them found a home but Fuze is now on her own as all her siblings left😰 She is a very friendly little girl who loves to be with you, walks on lead and loves to be with other dogs but can also be perfect the only dog. She loves her belly rubs and getting attention. Fuze was adopted in the very beginning but the lady got very ill and had to go for hospital appointments each day😰 She came back to us and now she is the last one. Fuze is 17 weeks old and ready to go to her new life. Aquí nuestro querido Pepé quiere educar a la población sobre la realidad de adoptar un gato adulto. Pepe es un gato de 2 años.De pequeñín vivió durante un par de meses en acogida y después en nuestro refugio durante dos años antes de ser adoptado por una encantadora pareja en Inglaterra.
Después de un largo viaje hasta Inglaterra pudo encontrarse con su nueva familia. Su adaptación fue perfecta desde el primer dia. Los gatitos pequeños son adorables ,pero dan mucho más trabajo y requieren de una mayor atención durante los primeros meses de vida.
Los lazos afectivos y de unión con un gato adulto adoptado son los mismos que con uno pequeño, quizás hasta más rápido. Al igual que con un pequeñín, se necesita tiempo, paciencia y mucho cariño. Una vez que se haya establecido ese vínculo, tendréis a un increible compañero de vida que ronroneará en vuestro regazo.

Pepé here wants to educate the masses about the truth of adopting an older cat. You see, Pepe is a 2 year old cat that had lived in foster care and at our shelter for two years before being adopted by a lovely couple in England. He made the long trip over to England and as you can see he has bonded so well with his new family. Kittens are adorable and also a lot more work. You can establish a very strong bond with your newly adopted older cat. As with a new kitten it takes time and love and once that is established you will find an incredible companion on your lap purring away!

For everyone who saw this post to collect free puppies at the police station in Garrucha 😰 We called the police to say we are on our way to take them all. When we arrived only 3 puppies left😰 Why would people offer them for free, without knowing if they will go to a good home. They are too young to be separated. We are very disappointed and we can only hope the 2 have a responsible home 🙏 The other 3 are now safe with us and in a foster home. When they are ready for adoption we will let you know.
