We are very happy with the behaviour developed by our new pair of desert monitors. It is fascinating to see the behaviour of this species in large outside enclosure. Currently this couple is keeping in a 10 square metres facility. We are planning new larger facilities

At the end of 2021 a rhinoceros iguana pair arrive to our farm for add our reptiles. This pair are 20 years old and they are very valuable because come from a legal import that was made 19 years ago from a farm in the Dominican Republic. The hatchlings from them could be considered like F1 or F2 generations (really interesting genetic).

The last breeding season she laid 23 infertile eggs, we think they are not acclimatise 100%. This year, after more time for to acclimatize, female laid 28 eggs and finally there are 12 fertile eggs. We are very happy with this good results. You can see the eggs after 44 days of incubation.

We continue to grow and in the next weeks we will add new very interesting specie to our farm. Now we are working in their new enclosures.

These days we take the opportunity to collect seasonal fruit from our trees (figs, and grapes). We offer to our iguanas in small quantities to help them recover from the breeding season with others like dragon fruit and papaya. They love them
