The first trip to the UK for 2025..
" Punctures, Tunnels, Bridges, cancelled ferries and Tolls"
This trip which saw 3 private pet dogs and 1 cat accompany 11 rescue dogs and 5 rescue cats to their forever homes in the UK was, to say the least a war of attrition. Two motorway blow outs, freezing fog, snow and ice through France along with two huge traffic jams and then the cancellation of the ferries put us hours behind schedule. With the fantastic support of the rescuers, owners and adoptors, spurring us on we finally made it to the UK and set about delivering the dogs and cats. Dartford tunnel and the QE11 bridge were followed by the Prince of Wales bridge into Wales and the Tunnel under the Tyne before heading up to Edinburgh and the Firth of Forth and back to the Mersey Tunnel. Once all the pets were in their forever homes we set about collecting the 3 dogs that were booked to enjoy their holidays in Spain. Back to Dover and then the long drive back through France to get these pets and ourselves home.

Our " Let's get them home for Christmas" trip December 2024.
This journey, made as close as possible to Christmas was designed to get 5 private pets, 4 dogs and 1 cat back to the UK before the 25th. Accompanying them were 7 rescue cats and 10 rescue dogs all heading to brand new forever homes. Our return journey saw 2 cats and 6 dogs return to Spain to spend their Christmas and New Years with their families in Spain.

November 2024, the 'longest week!'
November saw us undertake a mammoth trip involving 6 cats, and 21 dogs including several personal pets. Leaving Málaga and heading up, once again, through Valencia we witnessed the massive clear up operation ongoing since Storm Dana.
With one delivery in Paris we were much later than usual crossing to the UK so huge thanks once again to all the rescues, adoptors and owners for their patience and understanding. Anyone who has ever driven through Paris will know exactly what that means and will understand when we say ' never ever again! 😆 '
Onwards to the UK which saw us travelling as far North as Aberdeen and Down to Plymouth in the South west along with Norwich just for good measure. A trip of over 10,000km all in all.

October 31st. The "Sods law" Trip.
30 dogs were involved in the journey to the UK and back at the end of October and things could not have started off worse. A failure to start for our van meant we had to completely strip out the interior, purpose designed each trip for the size and number of dogs and cats travelling, and rebuild in our back up vehicle. Already 12 hours behind schedule we then had to navigate our way round the devastation caused by Storm Dana and make our way up from Málaga through Valencia and onto France.
We eventually arrived in the UK and the delivery of the precious cargo began. We travelled from the South Coast as far as Norwich and Exeter and up to Scotland delivering the dogs direct to homes and collecting those returning to Spain to either begin new lives or start a holiday with their owners.
All in all not great fun but we preservered and got the job done.. as always!
Huge thanks on this trip to the patient and understanding owners and adoptors who kept us going in the face of massive adversity.

OCTOBER 17th 2024 was an impromptu trip to cover a back log of requests. We delivered 3 dogs and 2 cats to fabulous new homes and returning to Spain with 1 dog relocating.
