September 2025 was a very different trip for us as we carried not only private pets, cats and dogs but two little ferrets.
First off the happy bus was little Polly delivered from Málaga to her new home in Alicante. The other rescue dogs and 1 cat were then taken to Traces for their vet checks and paperwork.
On Thursday we collected 4 pet cats and 6 pet dogs and they were joined by the 1 rescue cat, 2 ferrets and 12 dogs. One of the ferrets was delivered to a new home in France along with two of the dogs meaning we crossed the channel with 20.
All of the pets were delivered to their wonderful homes before we started to collect one cat and seven dogs that were rejoining their owners in Spain. Along the way we collected two more cats from France that were relocating with their owners to Spain.
After all the pets were delivered we made our way home for some much needed R and R before our next journey begins.

August 2025.
Every trip to the UK and back is different. Different dogs and cats, different owners and adopters. The van is stripped down after each trip, sanitised and reconfigured for the next trip to ensure the pets travelling have the correct size crate. Large, medium, small and tiny we accommodate them all and treat them all with the same care and respect.

August 2025.. Galgos, Pods, Cats, Road closures and Diversions!!
Twenty two dogs and cats joined our Spain to the UK leg with Charley the Frenchy being the first home, relocating to Almería. Once we had delivered all of the dogs and cats to homes as far afield as Norfolk and Scotland we set about collecting the eight cats and four dogs that were making the return journey to France and Spain.
Here are some of those lucky pets that enjoyed the journey with us.

July 2025.
21 dogs and 2 cats joined us for the journey to the UK and back. Pretty much plain sailing until we got to Dover when multiple deliveries versions and road closures started to hamper our progress. Once clear we managed to get all of pets home and here are some of the private pets and rescue dogs and cats that were all part of the experience. A Yorkie, Beagles, Pointers, Pods, Staffies, Galgos and Frenchies with some beautiful cross breeds all got on fabulously and never gave us a minutes grief.

Each month on every trip we do to the UK we invite everyone involved, fosters and rescues, private owners and adoptors and basically anyone involved with dog or cat that's travelling with us to get interactive on a what's app chat group. We post updates on our location and of course post photos and videos of the dogs and cats during the journey. We ask everyone to say a few words about their experience both with the rescue from which they have adopted their new family member and the overall travel experience. Happily on most trips everyone joins in with the interactive experience and help support each other, join in with the banter and show everyone updates once their pet or pets are home. The June trip to the UK and back was planned by AI. Safe to say whilst planning routes is easy for AI distances and timings are not great...
The route took us around the country as far East as Norfolk West to Bristol and South to The New Forest whilst travelling North to Glasgow and Edinburgh.
15 dogs, of which 8 were from rescue and 4 rescue cats, made their way to the UK. 1 dog and 2 cats were reunited with their families in Barcelona, Madrid and Málaga on the return journey.
