Ayer recibí la noticia de que Ra había partido de ese mundo para el otro lado del arco iris.
Ra fue mi primer gatito de catsitter, y él que me abrió la puerta pra empezar a trabajar con esa labor tan bonita.
Solo quiero dejarle mi homenaje y decir que soy muy agradecida por haber conocido ese gatito tan especial que llevare siempre en mi corazón 🙏🏻♥️
Mucho ánimo a su familia, que lo amó y cuidó cada dia de sus 20 años.

Yesterday I received the news that Ra left this world and is now gone to the other side of the rainbow.
Ra was my first cat of catsitter, and he opened a door for me to start working in such beautiful labor.
I just want to pay my respect for him and say that I am very greatfull of knowing this special cat, I will carry him in my heart always.
My sincerely regards to his family, that loved and took care of him every day of his 20 years.

Como muchos sabéis, he venido de Brasil 🇧🇷 con mi familia 👩🏻‍🦱👨🏻🐈‍⬛🐈 a vivir en Madrid 🇪🇸 debido a una oportunidad de trabajo que mi marido recibió hace poco más de 3 años y yo empecé a trabajar cuidando a los peluditos de Madrid con mucha alegría!

te habrás preguntado en algún momento e incluso creído que es un comportamiento raro y asqueroso. Pues la realidad es que no es ni manía ni mal hábito de tu perro. Es un comportamiento instintivo que tiene una función biológica clara y muy importante, conocido como “tonguing”. La respuesta tiene que ver con las llamadas feromonas.

Así como los perros no hablan como los humanos, las personas no huellen o escuchan como hacen los perros. Por eso, fácilmente perdemos muchas de las señales sutiles que nuestros compañeros nos envían.
Si atentas a su lenguaje corporal, será más fácil comunicarse con tu compañero peludo. Para entender mejor su lenguaje, es importante observar la combinación de los indicadores usados por el perro para expresar sus emociones. Por eso, intenta no concentrarse solamente en una característica, por ej. el movimiento de la cola, sino también en su lenguaje general.

¿Sabías que el color de la capa de un gato puede verse no solo afectado por los genes, pero también por el entorno?
En el caso de los gatos siameses, los puntos más oscuros en la cara, las patas, las orejas y la cola proceden de una mutación sensible a la temperatura que evita que el pelo adquiera su color habitual a una temperatura normal del cuerpo. De recién nacidos, esos gatos son blanquecinos porque el vientre de su madre está uniformemente caliente.
A medida que crecen sus extremidades se enfrían, el pelo se les oscurece en ellas, produciendo esa característica capa “punteada”.

¡Ya llegan los Reyes!
Los animales traen mucha felicidad a los hogares, son una gran compañía, excelentes compañeros de vida y claro, muy divertidos.
Es por eso que no resulta extraño escuchar en esa época que muchas familias optan por regalar perritos y gatitos.
Sin embargo, muchas personas no son conscientes de lo que implica esto en sus vidas y acaban teniendo una mala experiencia con el nuevo miembro de la familia. Muchas veces, lo que sucede es que las familias no están conscientes de lo que implica tener un animalito en casa: necesita atención, cuidados, dinero destinado a sus gastos y un ambiente en el cual pueda vivir de una manera digna.
Por eso, la decisión de regalar un animal debe ser gestionada desde la responsabilidad y el compromiso con su cuidado.

El miedo a los petardos y, en general, a los ruidos fuertes es muy prevalente en nuestros compañeros perros y gatos. El miedo es un mecanismo adaptativo que ayuda al animal a no enfrentarse a estímulos que podrían acabar con su vida. Pero cuando ese miedo es desproporcionado, es decir, no se adapta en cuanto al nivel de reacción con el nivel del estímulo, estamos hablando de una fobia.

APASIONADOS por los animales, nuestro objetivo es hacer con que se sientan cómodos y felices todo el tiempo que estean bajo nuestros cuidados.

Nuestro proyecto de Cuidado Animal surgió de la necesidad de los tutores, sea cuándo necesitan ausentarse por un viaje, porque trabajan muchas horas y no disponen del tiempo necesario para dedicarsen adecuadamente a las actividades de su compañero, o también en los casos de las personas mayores que necesitan ayuda con los cuidados basicos y paseos de sus peludos.

Con nuestra experiencia y constante actualización a lo largo del año de 2019, hemos podido desarrollar un nuevo servicio que comenzamos a ofrecer en 2020, la Consultoría Comportamental para Animales de Compañia. Nuestro objetivo es ayudar a las personas comprender sus animales para que tengan una convivencia sana y feliz.
