Queremos informar que alguien, esta noche, nos ha robado la corderita que nació hace unas semanas. Estamos muy tristes y decepcionados porque además, le habíamos encontrado a los tres un hogar todos juntos; la madre está muy estresada, lleva todo el día gritando, lo que está impidiendo que el otro cordero beba y ahora hemos tenido que comprar cámaras de vigilancia adicionales. Es triste que no se pueda confiar en la gente. Ese dinero gastado en cámaras podría haberse gastado en ayudar a los animales. ¿Por qué, quienquiera que seas, entrarías a robar un cordero que no es tuyo? 😠 no hay palabras!!

We want to inform you that someone last night has stolen our little lamb that was born a few weeks ago. We are very sad and disappointed because in addition, we had found a home for the three of them together; The mother is very stressed, she has been calling her all day, which is preventing the other lamb from drinking and now we have had to buy additional surveillance cameras. It's sad that people can't be trusted. The money spent on cameras could have been spent helping animals. Why, whoever you are, would you break in and steal a lamb that isn't yours? 😠 there are no words!!

Nuestro maravilloso refugio de animales necesita ayuda, no contamos con suficientes voluntarios para ayudarnos, muchas personas se ofrecen, pero no los vemos más. Lo único que pedimos es que puedan comprometerse a ayudarnos 2 horas a la semana, por favor.
No hace falta ser un experto en caballos, hay muchos trabajos diferentes, muchos animales diferentes. Incluso nos ayudaría mucho tener gente que simplemente nos pueda ayudar con recaudación de fondos, mercadillos, etc.
Es un lugar y entorno muy tranquilo, muy gratificante, un ambiente muy relajado alrededor de los animales... además el tiempo nos suele acompañar, el sol brilla la mayoría de los días.
¡Esperamos ver caras nuevas por el refugio! Muchas gracias por vuestra colaboración y apoyo.
Todos los animales lo agradecen mucho.

Help Us to Help Them

We believe that every horse, pony, donkey and mule has the right to a happy and healthy life, free of fear and neglect. We rescue abandoned, mistreated and neglected horses and donkeys from all over Menorca, giving them a safe place to live, providing essential veterinary treatment, rehabilitation and lifelong care.

Each individual horse has a storey to tell, and helping a horse that has suffered at the hands of humans and supporting them through their journey is one of the most rewarding aspects of our work

We currently provide permanent sanctuary care to 20 residents, the majority of whom are unlikely to be rehomed due to their challenging veterinary needs, sympathetic handling requirements or behavioural difficulties, which are a result of the neglect they have suffered.

We ensure that every resident – no matter how complex their needs – has the opportunity to live out their days in a loving and safe environment. The horses live out all year round in natural herds, encouraging them to exhibit their natural behaviour and make friends.
