🌧️🐴 Rain, rain… and more rain! 🐴🌧️

It’s a grey and soggy day at the rescue — some of our donkeys are staying cozy and dry in their stables, while others don’t mind getting a little muddy out in the paddocks! 😅💦

Luckily, everyone has a dry shelter to tuck into when they have had enough of the rain. 💛☔

💛🐴 Big day for our boys, Bruno and Bombón! 🐴💛

Today, these two lovely donkeys are at the clinic for their castration surgeries. For these boys, we decided to carry out the castration at the clinic — Bombón is an older gentleman and Bruno came to us with some health issues, so we want to make sure everything goes perfectly and safely. 💕

At the clinic, they’ll be in the best possible care, with professionals monitoring them before, during and after surgery. They will stay for 24 hours after the operation to ensure they recover comfortably and get the first after care before they come back to our rescue center. 🌿🩺

Send them lots of love and good vibes — we will keep you posted on their progress! 🤞🐾💚

💛🐴 A huge thank you to Rotary Mijas International ! 🐴💛

We were delighted to welcome members of the Rotary Mijas International at our rescue center this week! It was such a pleasure showing the ladies around, sharing the stories of our rescued donkeys and introducing them to a few of them. Of course they got some donkey cuddles 🥰🐾

We are incredibly grateful for their generous donation of €500,00, which will go directly toward the care and medical treatments of our latest rescues. 🌿💉💚

Every bit of support helps us give these donkeys the second chance they deserve — and we couldn’t do it without kind-hearted people like all of you. 🙏❤️

We want to inform everyone that we’re open for activities and visits but by booking only. Because caring for 22 lovely donkeys takes a lot of time and love, we are unfortunately not able to accommodate walk-ins. 🐾💪
