K-9² Close Combat's approch of training:

We respect all training efforts, but real life protection and realism are the goals here.We are always trying to improve our training methods by utilizing lessons learned in high risk environments. We only keep on working with dogs who have the natural talents as a defense dog and a high will to please, dogs that needed to be extremely encouraged during training -to reach the standard - are exactly the same dogs who need te be encouraged in real life-threatening situations. That makes this dogs useless for our program, this reality makes some people uncomfortable, but this truth is the core of any high performing team.
