Pooches Hotel is on the front row in Molinar. It has a front and back garden and the best bit is a massive roof terrace overlooking the sea.......please look at the pictures as the dogs that stay really do just love sitting on the top deck over looking the sea and watching the world go by.
All dogs in my care will have full access to the house/sofas/loungers, etc and are very much part of the family on arrival. During the day, before and after walks they will just be around the hotel, in and out of the garden and can basically chill out wherever they wish.
If they want company then my bedroom on giant cushions, blankets, rugs with air con is available
OR one of the other two air conditioned bedrooms
OR if it is all too much ........ downstairs in the living area, yet to have a guest stay out on the roof terrace but never say never.
I HAVE A 4 DOG MAXIMUM AT THE HOTEL .... This means I really can indulge and look after your pooch like it was one of my own. If your Pooch is not great with other dogs and the hotel is not busy then I am happy to work something out.
NB. All dogs must be up to sp*ed with vaccinations and I will need Vets details just in case.
DAILY ROUTINE
MORNING The day generally starts with a quick stroll out to the promenade for any urgent business. I generally then go to the park to let the dogs have a good sniff around or run about if allowed off the lead followed by a trip home for the older or slower Pooches. The more active pooches will then have a further walk and a visit to the sea if they like a swim.
AFTERNOON By late morning and early afternoon, everyone is just chilling at home with full access to the garden ....... with a doggie paddle pool on its way.
EVENING When it cools down we will then go for another walk along the promenade, come back and sit out the front garden to watch the world go by. They will also all come out to local restaurants and coffee shops if that's what they are used to doing.
There are always plenty of pictures coming your way throughout the day in various states of action or not as the case may be! The objective here is for a guilt free stay where they are having as much, if not more fun than you! You just let me know how many updates you want ......
FEEDING ROUTINE
All pooches are treated like royalty on arrival and it is a joy for me to make things as comfortable and familiar as I can. So, you just bring me the food with feeding times, quantity instructions and leave the rest to me. I am also completely happy to administer any medications that may be required. Please let me know if your Pooch has any food allergies as I tend to give out human grade chicken or ham treats throughout the stay.
ABOUT ME
I am 48 and have just moved from a 20 year stint in London where I was a property developer. I have always had a huge love for dogs and their well being. During this time, I had a brown labrador, called Morgan and a Rhodesian Ridgeback called Mika, till recently. When Mika died I decided I needed a change of scene so moved to be close to two of my very close friends who lived here and the sea.
I decided to open up a doggie hotel as I always struggled to find a lovely home from home for my own dogs when I wanted to go away. Long weekends never happened and holidays were few and far between with my parents helping out. I just want to offer people the opportunity I wish I had to be able to go away knowing your very special and loved family member is in safe hands and for myself I get the best of both worlds meeting wonderful dogs all the time.
