Today is a special day for little Toñi.

Just 4 years old female looking to be adopted.
She knows her role to protect
She has been around children
Not cat tested or dog tested but today we will see her around the other sanctuary dogs to see how she is.
Castrated and fully vaccinated

We have news

Our 2024 vet arrears total started at 2424.78€ and as of yesterday we have with your continued support from our UK Fun Day event and the event that Sanctuary Bar put on for us we have got it down to just 550€ remaining!

What a dream that we are nearly all complete!

With your support and donations as well as new followers becoming our friends I believe it won’t be long till our next update when we complete this in full and move forward to our 2025 vet bills.

Thank you for helping the animals we care for.

We are actively looking and asking for volunteers to be dog walkers and or hands on at the sanctuary… cleaning, building or helping with reparations and more.

Keep watching as we get closer to September and finally having our shop open which will sell new and preloved items for all.

Hi all

We are desperate to get our food donation bins set up in the local supermarkets.

Does anyone have any old dump bins or large plastic bins they do not need or want anymore? So that we can put posters on them to leave for any possible animals food donations.

What a month In june we had

En una calle tranquila de Barcelona, lejos de las multitudes y sin cartel alguno, hay una escultura que detiene a quien la encuentra.
No tiene pedestal. No hay placas doradas. Solo un perro de piedra. Sentado. Esperando.
Fue esculpido por el artista catalán Artur Aldomà Puig y se llama “El perro abandonado”. Y aunque su cuerpo es de granito, su alma parece de carne.
Sus ojos —vacíos y eternos— miran con una mezcla de esperanza y resignación. No busca comida. Busca a quien lo dejó atrás.
Junto a él, un poema grabado en metal:
"Tu raza no importa. Tu nombre no importa. Viniste al mundo para ser mi amigo."
La gente deja flores en sus patas. Los niños lo acarician. Los visitantes se arrodillan para sacarle una foto… y para secarse las lágrimas.
No es sólo una estatua. Es un recordatorio.
De lo que le debemos al amor leal.
De lo que no debe repetirse nunca más.
