Can you spare 1€ a month to help Malcolm’s Cats?

I’m now up to 40 cats, with number 41 on the way, the cost of food & vets bills are getting bigger and, after having been broken into and having 24 cats escape, some being out for 3 days, I need to secure my fencing to ensure their safety - this is not cheap either.

If anyone one has an old, but still working, mobile aircon unit they could lend (or give) to Animalia Protección Animal in Guardamar I will be buying one on Saturday and taking it to them - I can also take others if available!

It’s 50-55C in the shelter’s rooms and 3 kittens have died of heat exhaustion in the last 4 days.

Can anyone please donate old, but still working air conditioning units to the Animalia Protección Animal in Guardamar - kittens are succumbing to the terribly high temperatures in the hostel and dying 😢

La pequeña Geovanna ha cruzado🌈🥺 es la primera víctima de este verano ha fallecido por un golpe de calor en el albergue de Guardamar del Segura
El Ayuntamiento de Guardamar del Segura nos ha enviado una empresa con un dron térmico donde se ha hecho las medidas oportunas tanto fuera como dentro del albergue donde los animales y los voluntarios soportan temperaturas de 50 grados dentro del albergue fuera las planchas de uralita metálica que es el techo en la última medición a las 6 de la tarde estaban a 55 grados.. llevábamos años denunciando dicha situación todos los veranos fallecen en el albergue de Guardamar algunos animales por golpes de calor... y voluntarios han tenido golpes de calor entre los voluntarios espero que pronto venga ya las medidas adoptadas

Marquiz snapped his back left leg’s tendon so had surgery yesterday to sew it back together. Now the daily cleaning takes place along with laser treatment to helping the healing process…. Poor boy is now confined to a cage for several weeks!

Happy Birthday to my little boy, Theo - 4 years old today! 🎉❤️🎉❤️

Theo was dumped on Peraleja Golf along with Chloe (who I have) and Thomas & Tabitha (who were adopted in the UK) one evening around 23:00. A friend & neighbour alerted me to the multiple meows of help from these 4 little abandoned souls.

Theo was so tiny I had to feed him by syringe. Oddly the 4 were not from the same litter - all being different ages.

Having so many cats is really taking a toll 😢 the facilities are full, the foster homes are full, the litter and food is running low, the volunteers are being pushed to the limit, physically and mentally, the vet bills are coming in and the money pot is running out.

Please if you can help us in any way please do. Donations, sparing a couple of hours, fostering, sharing our posts. We need all the help we can get.

We've had Mr Darcy at the vets for hopefully his last surgery to fix his mouth, this week he's got his check up, and miss Linda has her appointment for a CT scan and tests to try and find some answers, and then obviously she will need some sort of treatment and who knows how much that will cost.

We will be doing some events over the summer to try and raise as much money as possible so please give our posts advertising the events a share so we can reach as many people as possible.

Tener tantos gatos realmente está pasando factura 😢 las instalaciones están llenas, las casas de acogida están llenas, la arena y la comida se están acabando, los voluntarios están siendo llevados al límite, física y mentalmente, las facturas del veterinario están llegando y el El dinero se está acabando.

Por favor, si puedes ayudarnos de alguna manera, hazlo. Donaciones, dedicar un par de horas, fomentar, compartir nuestras publicaciones. Necesitamos toda la ayuda que podamos conseguir.

Hemos tenido al Sr. Darcy en el veterinario para, con suerte, su última cirugía para arreglar su boca, esta semana tiene su chequeo y la señorita Linda tiene su cita para una tomografía computarizada y pruebas para tratar de encontrar algunas respuestas, y luego, obviamente, ella Necesitará algún tipo de tratamiento y quién sabe cuánto costará.

Realizaremos algunos eventos durante el verano para tratar de recaudar la mayor cantidad de dinero posible, así que comparta nuestras publicaciones que anuncian los eventos para que podamos llegar a la mayor cantidad de personas posible.

I’m fundraising to help Millie.

She’s a cat caught in Valle del Sol. She was trapped and taken to the vet to be neutered. It turned out she was pregnant (again), but, at an early stage and her kittens could be aborted. Sadly, during her neutering tests showed she was positive to leukaemia. In cats this is a transmitable illness - so she cannot mix with my gang.

She is feral but becoming more trusting of humans as each day passes. I will not release her back onto the streets knowing she will eventually die of this degenerative disease. Currently she is in my guest bathroom but I want her to be able to see the sky and feel the warmth of the sun again, so I’m asking for help to buy a pen that can be fitted to the side of my house so she can leave the bathroom and enjoy being outside.

This pen is a reasonable size (3 x 1.5 x 1.5 m) for one cat. It costs 366€ plus delivery and VAT.
There’s some foundation work to be done and then a protective top to ensure no one climbs up the pen onto the roof of the house.

She will then be able to move between the bathroom and the garden as and when she pleases.

This is little Millie. She was trapped and neutered (she was pregnant but at an early stage so it could be terminated) here in Valle del Sol but sadly tested positive for leukaemia. She’s not yet trustful of humans but she and I are getting to know each other a little more each day so now there’s no hissing or growling or claw swiping….. 🥰
