Two Italian Greyhound Siblings Join Daycare 🐾

Two adorable siblings 🐶 — an Italian Greyhound brother and sister chose us for their daycare adventures, and they’ve completely stolen our hearts! 💖 From the moment they arrived, their graceful energy filled the room. They love curling up together often sharing a blanket or their dog bed 🛏️.

The Italian Greyhound 🇮🇹 is a small, elegant sighthound with roots in ancient Rome 🏛️. Known for their sleek lines, loving nature, and bursts of speed ⚡, they’re the tiniest members of the greyhound family. Their fine coats make them sensitive to cold 🧣, so they adore warm spots and cozy sweaters. Beyond their beauty, Italian Greyhounds are loyal, gentle, and incredibly affectionate — the perfect mix of cuddle buddy and little athlete! 💞🐾

Sus dueños nos llamaron esta mañana con una urgencia — ¡necesitaban ayuda para cuidarla en menos de una hora durante dos días! Y aquí está ahora, disfrutando, jugando y sintiéndose como en casa con nosotros 🐕✨

Nos encanta poder ofrecer tranquilidad a las familias cuando más lo necesitan, y darles a los peluditos un lugar seguro y divertido.

Duke is recently rescued yorkie who visibly has gone through some tough times. He was booked in with us for the first day of his daycare. He was not completely relaxed with other doggies to start with, but with the right guidance and instructions he quickly understood how to behave. He is very smart! With consistancy and patience in training the owners have a great potential to have a very friendly doggy! 🧡🐶

🐶Dog Travel News🐶

In some news for jet-setting pups, Italy is setting a global example and leading the pack in pet welfare; medium and large dogs can now travel in an aircraft cabin, side by side with their pet parents. Previously only small dogs up to 10kg were allowed.

Dogs must be housed in secure carriers that can be placed on seats and buckled up. They should not exceed the average passenger weight limit.

This change is largely driven by concerns about the welfare of pets, as cargo travel can be stressful and potentially risky for dogs.

While the regulation is in place, individual airlines still have the discretion to set their own specific policies regarding pet transport. Some airlines, like ITA Airways and Neos, have already adopted policies to accommodate this change, offering special seating arrangements and pet-friendly policies.

The move has been met with enthusiasm by many pet owners who welcome the more humane and convenient approach to pet travel.

There are ongoing discussions about making train travel more pet-friendly as well.
