Meet SIMBA 🐶
A sweet energybomb. We believe he is a boxer mix. Good in the car, crate trained, potty trained, walks as good as a 4 month old puppy can on the leash.
Great with cats, kids ans dogs as per usual in our home. Loves any people he meets.
Currently at the vets to get his first rabies and chip and passport, so he will be ready to leave soon.

We were able to touch Benji yesterday for the FIRST TIME without being caught and forced to be touched. 😭❤️
Benji has been with us for 6 months. He hasn’t been touched other than when he’s been caught and forced to in relations to vets and so on for 3 YEARS!! He’s been abused before, most likely kicked and beaten as he is afraid of feet and will when “quickly” having hands near him scream and yelp before running away even though he isn’t necessarily touched.
So what a victory ❤️ Benji has fitted into our pack so well and we therefor haven’t forced or pushed him as we weren’t completely sure what was the right approach for him, and as there is and has been no rush in getting Benji up for adoption, we have just taken our time hoping that one day for each day he gets closer to us, that he would let us touch him.
Time, patience. A lot of baby talk 😝
Benji watch out cause soon you’ll be put up for adoption!! 🤣

Goodbye kisses at the airport
Its a big dag today. Flina is leaving to go to Sweden through a Swedish organisation who was interested in bringing her home from before we took Flina in under our organisation. They have people interested in her but will foster her while they check which family she’s most fit with ❤️
Stumpy came along to say bye to her pen-pal, and gave Flina some sweet bye bye kisses 🥹❤️🥰. No doubt that they will miss each other. They have both, but especially stumpy, grown so much from spending time together.
In a couple of hours it’s Mayas turn to go to Denmark to her new family who has been waiting a long time to get her home.🐾🥳

Benji ..sweet Benji♥️ Our little guy that has not been touched for more than 2 years .. as told before we do not rush any "healing" but let Benji decide when he is ready ..and he do progress slowly ..some weeks just a little . but he never go backwards .......but then ...then he do big steps ..like this morning ♥️🙏♥️.. this is a crazy big happy progress .♥️
..and worth the, of course at times, frustrating thoughts that we'll never get through to him ...But hi ..we will ...when Benji is ready ♥️
For now he is just a big personality at Finca AnimalVida ..fits in with us and all new dogs coming here and I too believe Benji has no big complains about his life for now 😊😊
