UPDATE - FOSTER FOUND - THANK YOU
Can anyone offer a foster home to this young pup.
Little known other than it's owner has been hospitalized and the pup needs a new home. It is spending most its time in a crate while a solution is being looked for.
Please offer a foster home if you can.

URGENT: Foster home/s needed for these two dogs. Their owner unexpectedly passed away leaving these little dogs homeless. They are used to the home comforts and now find themselves living in a goat pen. Little known about them as yet but its believed it is mother and adult pup, we don't know which is which, awaiting more information.

Loving puppy Kate is calm and gentle and hopes to find a forever home where she will be cared for with kindness.
Kate was dumped on a cold winter’s night with her little brother in the middle of nowhere. Luckily they were found and taken into foster care. She’s now three months old and ready for adoption in Spain.
Kate is a mastin-type dog so she will be a big girl and will need a home with outside space. She likes to play and is learning to fetch a ball. Kate gets along with other dogs and cats and has a very soft nature.
She just wants your love and affection.

You might think butter wouldn’t melt in his mouth but Billy is a little livewire.
This cute puppy was found dumped in the middle of nowhere with his sister on a cold winter’s night.
He’s now in a Foster home where he loves getting up to mischief with the other dogs and cats. Billy is a 12-week-old mastin-type and he’s now ready for adoption.
He’s full of energy, clever and fearless. Billy is eager to explore the world with a forever family that enjoys an active outdoor life.

They call it puppy love. Little Kate is cuddling up to her teddy bear after being found dumped on a cold winter’s night in the middle of nowhere.
12-week-old Kate was found with her little brother and taken into Foster care. She must be missing her mum but has found comfort in her big teddy.
Kate quickly settled in with her Foster family and is enjoys playing with other dogs, cats and children.
She’s a mastin type with a calm and gentle nature and she loves to cosey up for a cuddle.
She could be snuggling you on your sofa.

Canela AAR 2769 is enjoying life in foster with her doggie siblings and loves cuddles and attention ( she’s actually a bit of a flirt)
This little princess is so sweet, at only 8 kg she’s not taking up much space. The biggest part of her is her heart which is bursting with love ready to give to a forever family. If you’d like to meet Canela with a view to adopt, please email

🐶Benny (AAR 2768) pupdate

🙏Thanks to the donations received so far, Benny is undergoing treatments for his needs.
He is now on a course of antibiotics for a month to treat the illnesses that the blood test discovered. Plus, he will start injections next week.
His ear infection is improving with the medication and cleansing. His skin is starting to smell better too with the daily wipes.
The vet emptied his hematoma with a syringe to get him comfortable as we cannot operate yet whilst the other medications are being done. He was such a good boy when that was being done.

So the next step is to continue checkups on the dermatitis and skin infection, start injections and then when the vet is happy we can give him his vaccinations and see if we need to operate on his ear.

🐾Benny has settled in well in his temporary foster home, is housetrained, good on the lead and making friends with his cat and dog friends too.

We are looking for a foster home for the lovely Valentia.
She came into our care in March 2024 after being rescued from a life in the campo. When rescued she had a litter of 9 pups and no doubt had many previous litters. What a life, no home, no food and giving birth to litter after litter of pups.
Well no more of that now. Valentia has been neutered and is living in kennels. Extremely nervous when first rescued, I doubt she had met many people and those she did meet probably weren't very nice to her.
It took Valentia a very long time getting used to life in rescue but with the patience and understanding of her carers at the kennels she eventually settled, although she is still nervous of people she doesn't know. Volunteers at the kennels take her out for walks at the weekends and she enjoys the experience.
Valentia now needs to experience home life so we are looking for a foster carer for her. You will need to be patient with her as it will take her time to get used to both new people and a new home but the experience of home life for Valentia will make finding her forever home easier. She gets on well with other dogs and she would need secure outside space.
If you are interested in fostering Valentia we would strongly suggest visiting her at the kennels to start growing a relationship with her.

Playful pups Billy AAR 2770 and Kate AAR 2771 were dumped in the middle of nowhere on a cold winter’s night at just weeks old.

Luckily they were taken in by a caring couple in the campo in Almayate and are now in foster care.

Billy and Kate are 12 weeks old and are healthy and full of fun. The pups immediately settled into family life. They love playing with other dogs, cats and children.

Billy and Kate are mastin-type, quick to learn, clean in the house. Their foster mum says she has never known pups so brave and smart. They will make perfect family pets.

Billy is outgoing and energetic while Kate is calm and gentle and loves a cuddle. They can be homed separately.

Our AAR Shop is situated on Avd Andalucia in Torre del Mar and is open from 10am-2pm Monday to Saturday. If you have any unwanted items you would like to donate to our charity then please bring them to our shop during our opening times only (please do not leave these outside during our closed hours)
