We are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of Karen Pryor, a pioneering animal trainer, author, and expert in behavioural psychology and marine mammal biology. As the founder of the Karen Pryor Academy and a leading advocate for clicker training, her innovative methods have profoundly influenced animal training practices worldwide. Her legacy will continue to inspire and guide us in the field of animal behaviour and training. Our thoughts go out to all Karen’s loved ones, colleagues and peers.

There is nothing natural about large numbers of unfamiliar dogs partaking in high-intensity activity in a dog park, and this shouldn’t be the benchmark for a social dog. If your dog is not their best in such an environment, you are not doing anything wrong. 👏👏 There is nothing wrong with your dog. 👏👏 Your dog is normal. 👏👏

For many cats, the best option is an uncovered litter box placed in a quiet and convenient location. We often make the mistake of trying to provide so much privacy that we end up creating an uncomfortable or unsafe set-up. Additionally, with a covered box, it often doesn't get checked and scooped enough.

Attention! Due to unpleasant health issues I'm going through I'm hard to reach for a while now. Sorry about that and sadly this will continue still for a while. I'm on sick leave till it's necessary although Repair Thursday with Upstitch Studio project is on. Other Upstitch Studio'sand C.U.P.S. Professional Pet Care, Helsinki jobs need to wait, all is kept on hold for now.
