I’m always amazed by how sociable our Rockies are. Whenever a new horse joins the herd, they warmly welcome it, helping the newcomer feel at home and encouraging it to explore its new surroundings. Even the young foals participate in this friendly greeting, as you can see here!

We descided to get some southern habits with this heat... up early, siesta time and some more work in the evnening. It will be 30+ temps, grass is turning yellow, luckely lots of hay was made this year. Would be nice to have a little rain now... funny to say after the rain we had 😅 I am NOT doing a rain dance again!
