🚨 Important Announcement: 🚨

Dear Friends and Valued Customers,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to update you on a situation that has been causing me immense stress and frustration over the past few weeks.

On March 13th, 2024, my web hosting provider, Bluehost, accidentally deleted my website during one of their upgrades. Since then, I have been tirelessly working to have it restored to no avail. Bluehost is insisting that I purchase additional hosting in order to retrieve my website, which is simply unacceptable given that I had already prepaid for three years of hosting services.

Moreover, despite assurances of a full refund for the hosting fees I paid upfront, which doesn't expire until April 2025, I am yet to see any progress on that front.

This ordeal has not only disrupted my business operations but has also been incredibly disheartening. I have poured my heart and soul into building my website and serving my customers, only to have it taken away due to a mistake on Bluehost's part.

I want to assure you that I am doing everything in my power to resolve this situation as quickly as possible. Your support and understanding during this challenging time mean the world to me.

National Black Cat Day.

In most Western cultures, black cats are often seen as a symbol of bad luck or linked to the occult.

In Japan, single women who own black cats are believed to attract more suitors. There is even a Black Cat Cafe.

In the English Midlands, a black cat is the ideal wedding gift, they're believed to bring good luck and happiness to the bride. (Of course, they bring happiness and luck buy why only to the bride ?)

British sailors believed a black cat would bring them luck and ensure them a safe passage home.

A black cat arriving on your doorstep signals prosperity and a black cat that crosses your path signals good luck in England and Ireland.

In the south of France, black cats are referred to as 'matagots' or 'magician cats' and according to local superstition, feeding and treating them well will bring good luck to the owner.

National Meow Like a Pirate Day.

Since Pirates are rarely seen without a cat or two or ten, it's only fitting to include them in today's festivities.

Speaking of Pirates, I don't recall seeing a cat on any man-o-war that Captain Jack Sparrow commandeered. Tsk tsk Disney.

Thanks to Meow Like a Pirate Day, every September 19th, your feline has the opportunity to set sail and exercise their sea paws.

It is said that most pirates couldn't swim, therefore cats are just as qualified to set sail with the Captain and his buccaneers as anyone, aarrgh.

Play dress up. Dress your feline like Jack Sparrow and post it here or on Instagram. Get creative with hook hands, peg legs, eye patches but be careful with your puddy tat.

Ginger Cat Appreciation Day.

Whether you call them tabby, ginger, tiger or marmalade cats, today brings a bit more love your way.

Tabby cats have striped, marbled, ticked, or spotted markings on their coats, and almost always have a marking in the shape of an M on their forehead.

Did you know that 75% of orange tabbies are males ?

While all ginger cats are honoured today, here is one we'd like to mention.

Since the National Trust opened the house to the public in 1966, the family of Sir Winston Churchill requested that there always be a marmalade cat named Jock, with a white bib and four white socks, in comfortable residence at Chartwell.

In May 2020 they welcomed Jock VII, a six month old rescue kitten, to the property to take up this unique role.

Along with his white bib and white paws, Jock VII has a very mischievous character. Keep an eye out for him as you tour the property.
