Champagne de Chats is a well established hotel for cats located in the heart of Champagne-Mouton in the Charente and is in easy reach of Ruffec, St. Claud, Civray, Nanteuil-en-Vallee, Pressac, Charroux, Chasseneuil-s-Bonnieure and Confolens. We are a family run business whose aim is to make our furry guests enj

oy a peaceful and comfortable time with us whilst away from home. Stays with us can be as short as one night or for longer extended stays. Your cat will have its own individual purpose built suite designed to provide comfort and tranquillity. We provide a soft and comfortable bed for sleeping, but if you would like to provide their own bed or special blanket from home, you are welcome to do so. A scratching post will also be provided as well as a litter tray and feeding bowls. In addition, through a cat flap, your cat will have access to their own outside area containing various platforms and branches to climb. Our guests are groomed, cuddled and played with throughout the day. Your cats personal requirements
It is very important to us that your cat feels at home as much as possible so keeping to the same routine that they are used to will help and we will endeavour to do just that. How your cat is fed is very important so we ask that you give us as much information as possible on the Registration Form that you will be asked to fill out before your cats arrival with us. Does your cat enjoy being groomed daily? If so, please tell us in the Registration Form. Does your cat enjoy being stroked and cuddled? As we spend a large part of the day with our guests, we like to give each of our furry guests individual time. Playing, grooming, stroking and cuddling – whatever your cat requires. We provide lots of toys for this purpose. The more information you can provide about your cats personality, his likes and dislikes, the more enjoyable his stay will be with us. Special Needs
If your cat is under veterinary supervision and requires regular medication, this information must be entered into his profile on the Registration Form in order that we can carry out all necessary procedures at the recommended times. Would you like us to feed your cat? Ordinarily we ask that you provide sufficient food for your cat for the duration of their stay with us. However we understand that sometimes it is not always practical for you to do so. Unless your cat is on a special diet from your vet, we will be happy to provide a good quality dry food for your cat such as Iams, Purina Pro One and Ultima plus additional wet food and treats if desired. The cost for this service is an additional 1.25 euro per day per cat. If you would like this service please select this option on the Registration Form. Collection and Return Service

We know from our own experience how hectic and stressful it can be organising a trip away. There are a million and one things to do before you leave and you are always pushed for time. The last thing you want to do is to take that hour or so round trip to drop off your cat at the cattery. So we have decided to offer our clients a Collect and Return Service. We will collect your cat at a pre-arranged time and will be happy to return your cat to you on your return home. The cost of this service is 10 euros each way for up to a distance of 25 kms and an extra 50 cents per km or part thereof after that. For example. A five day stay with us will cost 50 euros. If you live within a 25 km radius from us, and wish us to collect and return your cat, that will be an extra 20 euros, making a total of 70 euros. This service is available between the hours of 9am and 6pm. Loyalty Card
We at Chats de Champagne value your custom and as a result we have decided to introduce a Loyalty Card Scheme. For every 7 days booked with us we will give you a free stay of one night. These days do not have to be consecutive and you can take your free stay whenever you want to. You can save them up and then book a free extended stay with us if you wish and there is no time limit on when you wish to take advantage of your free stays. Opening Times
We are open 7 days a week by appointment. If you are dropping off and collecting your cat from us, we will contact you nearer the time to arrange an arrival slot. Please try to adhere to these times slots as arrivals and departures are planned very carefully to ensure that your cat is settled in with as little stress as possible. February is Cat Health Month, so no better time to give your fur baby a bit of tlc and maybe a little trip to the vets for a check over? At the very least it's a good reminder to catch up with flea, tick and worm treatments and maybe give them a little paper, including checking and cleaning their ears, teeth and claws. Remember to only use products suitable for cats and if in doubt, always get advice from your vet!

Février est le mois de la santé du chat. Il n'y a donc pas de meilleur moment pour donner à votre bébé à fourrure un peu de soins et peut-être une petite visite chez le vétérinaire pour un contrôle. C'est au moins un bon rappel pour rattraper les traitements contre les puces, les tiques et les vers et peut-être leur donner un petit papier, notamment en vérifiant et en nettoyant leurs oreilles, leurs dents et leurs griffes. N'oubliez pas d'utiliser uniquement des produits adaptés aux chats et, en cas de doute, demandez toujours conseil à votre vétérinaire !
