Matthias is an internationally accredited horse specialist, who has been guiding workshops and lectures all over the world — known for translating the horse’s honest, in-the-moment feedback into clear, practical insights about presence, authenticity and the way we connect with ourselves.

At Avalon he will guide two unique events:�

Authentic Alignment – Group Day (Sunday 14 September)�
A co-creation with the Avalon team. We begin with a guided breath-work session to open the body and heart, creating the foundation for Matthias to take us deeper into authenticity, presence, and what horses can teach us about living in alignment. The day combines breathwork, integration, an immersive workshop and a closing Q&A.�

Private Equine Intensive – Very Small Group (Monday 15 September, max. 3 participants)�
A deep personal session with Matthias, designed for lasting breakthroughs in presence, clarity, and authentic power. With only three participants, there is space for highly personalised guidance through intake, equine work, and integration — translating insights into concrete steps you can apply directly in your life and work.

To dare to be Authentic!

Something I understood in the past but not in the same dept as I realize now!

She is guiding me towards my strengths, softens my weaknesses and sends me courage to realize my goals and dreams!

Only when being authentic can we truly inspire others 🍀

What does it mean to be spiritual?

Personally, it isn't a word I like using.

It's a word created by people who are disconnected from their true origin.

Imagine asking this question to native tribes "Are you spiritual?" Most of them would probably not even understand what you are talking about.

They are just living like us, trying to understand the deeper meaning. The only difference is that it's rooted in their system it's a natural part of their existence.

The word spirituality is pointing out a difference between 2 worlds while in reality it is one and the same thing.

We often like to name things but this only creates boundaries in our expansion.

Let's get back to the origin and just call it life!!

- Reclaiming our strength -

We often look up to our horses and put them on a pedestal.

We wish to be connected, sensitive and soft as them.

Therefore, it often feels as an honor when they decide to be in our presence without us asking them to.

However, I do think it's good to remind ourselves that we are the last creation of existence. The love and compassion of humans goes beyond abbundace when being lived in its fullest potential.

Don't lower yourself towards horses and other beings this will not help in any way.

Try to reclaim your strength and you will see that horses will come towards you to share this loving interaction.

We need to shift this mindset and understand that it's an honor to be human and be carried by this physical form and not a disease.

- Different ways of guiding horses -

1. I will always start to guide my horses by walking in front of them. This way I become a reference point. If I am able to stay calm in my surrounding, then it makes it easier for them to adapt themselves to my energy.

2. If they start feeling relaxed then I will change my position and start guiding them from the side. This way we become equal partners who are together on an adventure. It will boost there confidence and make them more sure of their position.

3. If the connection is mutual and strong, then I even allow them to walk in front of me. It's my way of expressing that I completely trust them. This will make the connection between us even stronger!

4. We begin with a halter, then a neckrope and finish it in liberty!

Obviously, this is a very simple explanation of the basics! We can go in more depth while putting it into practice!
