Happy paws with Mr Harry Wagdaddy

So Happy paws was taken over by myself and Benedicte in 2015 and we have gone from a tick over business to a very busy business. We have just gone from strength to strength thanks to our clients.

I remember I was told you will be full 17 weeks a year the rest of time just tick over, which was very true in our first 6 months. In 2017 we were on an average of 7 dogs per week over the 52 week period. (this does include the over 5000€ of free kennels we provided to the dog charity we used to work with.) At one stage early 2017 we had over half the dogs in foster care under our roof at one stage it was crazy.

While now we are in house we cannot foster dogs anymore due to having 2 of our own rescues and still having to make a living as while I loved helping rescue dogs unfortunately it does not put money in the bank to pay the bills and the fact is we cannot take unknown risks with dogs we have spent little time with as this would not be fair to our clients or the foster dogs. We do however offer free bed space to anyone with a foster dog while they go away on top of their own dogs.

We love what we offer and we must be doing something right as even though our new place has hit many hurdles and obstacles our clients have stuck by us and many new ones have joined us.
