“Dr Doelittle was our best holiday find by far! We decided to take our Sh*tzu (Daisy) on holiday with us as she is too nervous for the kennels at home. We spoke to Caroline after she was highly recommended to us about Daisy and her ‘issues’. Caroline came to our home to meet Daisy and not only offered doggy day care but also a training plan to make our nervous dog more sociable. Not only did Dr Doelittle allow us to have long family days out without a worry of rushing back but each time we picked up Daisy you could visibly see a difference in her. Since we have got home we have continued with Caroline’s advice and we really have a different dog. She is far more confident and sociable. This is the lovely little Daisy. She is our newest Dr Doelittle customer. As well as using our dog day care services she needed a little help to be more sociable with other dogs. With help from our dogs and some expert training from Caroline she is making great progress.

Dr Doelittle can provide animal assessment and behaviour services. Examples include basic training advice and guidance for dog owners who have; new puppies or rescue dogs, dogs with behaviour issues or problems introducing animals together.

We can provide a 'stay at home' house/pet sitting services for any and all homes. Whether you have a smallholding with a mixture of farm and domestic animals, you are a well meaning kind-hearted home that has been taken over by the rescues (you know who you are) or a small scale home where there are a few 'special needs' cases that just wont be happy anywhere other than at home. Approximate cost for this service is €30-40 per day.

If you're going away but don't need or want someone to stay in the house then we can offer 'drop-in visits'. We can look after your; cats, small furries, farm animals, birds, reptiles etc. We can also provide this service if you're planning a long day out...so no need to cut your day short to rush back to tend to your animals!

The cost for this service is €8 per single 30 minute visit or €14 per single 60 minute visit. Please note additional mileage charges apply for visits over 10km. Contact us for any bookings or questions.

Meet Tilly, she is a golden retriever puppy. She is a regular boarder but also comes to us for our 'dog day care services'. She has a whale of a time here socialising and playing with her other canine friends as well as all of the other animals. It's an ideal service if you're planning a long day out. Dog day care is available between 09:00 and 17:00 and costs €15 per dog or €24 for 2 dogs from the same home. This includes a pack walk.

It's important to know that you are leaving your animals in qualified and experienced hands, here's a little bit of info on Caroline Doe. Prior to moving to France she worked as an RSPCA Inspector in Kent for 7 years. This was an incredibly varied and demanding role and provided her with invaluable experiences and expertise with most types of animals including; domestic, farm, wildlife and exotic. She also has a BSc in Animal Science and Welfare, an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation and numerous animal related qualifications and certificates from her work with the RSPCA.
