The Bombay is a svelte black cat with copper penny eyes known affectionately as the parlor panther. These cats are of medium length with a rounded head and short muzzle, all dressed up in a short, flat, gleaming, black-to-the-roots coat that accentuates their rippling muscular form.

The Bombay is a dog, a cat, and a monkey all rolled into one mischievous package. They can be leash trained, and most enjoy playing “fetch” and are fond of inventing new ways to entertain themselves and the humans with whom they live. Bombays are congenial, and outgoing and make intelligent, affectionate companions. They adapt well to busy lifestyles and usually get along with children, elders, and other pets.
