The Twilight Retirement Home for Dogs is a registered association providing an oasis of love and tranquillity in a family home for old, sick and disabled dogs.

It’s about having the best of life to the very moment of crossing the Rainbow Bridge. Assoc Twilight W242001328

Twilight was established in 2009 and since then has seen more than 300 dogs pass through its gates. It has inspired many people to welcome an old or disabled dog into their life. Nestled in the verdant countryside of the French Perigord Vert, this is the family home of Leeanne and Mich

ael Whitley. They were inspired to create Twilight after losing their elderly dog Kizzy, and needing to find a friend for their remaining happy retriever, Teg. It became evident, searching the pounds and refuges, that if you were an old dog, life was not always so good, and your ending might be premature and/or without dignity. Twilight now provides all that a dog needs to make him or her as well and as comfortable as possible for their remaining days.

Whoop, it’s brown stuff time! Yes, all those small coins you pop in our collection boxes or save for us at home all add up. The latest bag load from Team south totalled €134. Isnt that just fabulous. Katharina very kind turned thé coins into the shop voucher, allowing us to stock up on paper rolls, and other essentials. Thank you so so much ### every centime counts ###x

It is with great sadness we share the news of the death of a dear Twilight supporter Terry. We send our heart felt condolences to Michael his partner, and all his family and friends. He asked that instead of flowers a collection for thé puds was made. At the funeral and a local collection, this amounted to a most generous €600. Bless you Terry, may you now be pain free and across that bridge on your next journey. ❤️🌈

OH my, auntie Debs came to stay … she makes hundreds and hundreds of these for the Twilight events ….and brought one for us, how lucky are we!
