What a great opportunity!

Hi happy followers, if you have time to spare, we are currently looking for new volunteers. Anyone over 16 is welcome to come down and have a chat. We need volunteers for caring for our beautiful birds of prey. Also gardeners, carpenters, roofers, tree surgeons, electricians or just a keen interest in wildlife. Anyone who has an eye for art, as we have been busy repairing our aviaries and would love some pretty scenes painted on the inside.

Caerphilly Council’s Cabinet members have approved plans to create a special hardship fund to help residents cope with the ‘cost-of-living crisis’

The current cost of living crisis presents an unprecedented financial challenge to many residents in the County Borough.

The Caerphilly CBC Cost of Living Hardship Fund will allow the Council to undertake a series of initiatives aimed at providing support to those most in need.

Hello, my names Becca and I run Fur & Leash. I am looking for new customers wanting a qualified dog walker in the areas of Blackwood, Abercarn, Cwmcarn, Crumlin, Newbridge, Pantside and surrounding areas.

If the return to work is seeing your pampered pooch more of a lonesome lock away I'm here to help! Our services offer a wide range of appointments such as collection of your pooch for an hour's long adventure through winding forest paths or a more secluded privately owned area of our acreage where your nervous pup can run til their hearts content away from the vicinity of other dogs.

We offer in home help with whelpers and feeding as well as golden oldies relaxed walks for the more senior gentle souls.

Holiday care for your furry friends is on offer where we can schedule visits for feeding, watering and tidying of your smaller furry friends such as rabbits, guinea pigs, gerbils etc. Reptiles are also able to be cared for. I have had experience from hog nose snakes to rabbits, sphynx cats to land race pigs so you can be sure your pet is in very safe loving hands.
