🥹⛑️🐕💉 Balto wasn't just a dog; he was a true hero who changed history! This Siberian husky became a legend in 1925 by leading the most dangerous stage of the Great Serum Run, a race against time that saved the town of Nome, Alaska, from a deadly diphtheria epidemic. During this historic event, known as the "Race of Mercy," Balto and his team crossed 85 kilometers through a fierce storm, with temperatures dropping to -40 °C, facing blizzards and treacherous ice. Despite the hardships, he guided with precision and determination, delivering the antitoxin just in time to prevent a greater tragedy.

Balto, considered a hero by the children and inhabitants of Nome, was honored during his lifetime with statues, accolades, and worldwide admiration. After his death, his body was preserved and is now displayed at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History as a testament to his courage and sacrifice. Additionally, a statue in his honor stands in Central Park, New York, reminding us that even a dog can leave an indelible mark on history.

Thank you Danielle Marshall for sharing Loki's massive progression at a dog festival!!!! Before you play the video, Loki had a hard time excepting other dogs passing from head on or even the sight of a dog he would be anxious on lead and erupt there and then. Now Danielle and Loki has shown an impressive leap in their last few sessions. Well done to you both, you have smashed it. Loki is almost at his mums (Luna's) level!!!!

Took Dave up to top field to work on his off lead in an open space with so much temptation!! 💪👏👏👏👏👏👏Well done butty.

It has come to my attention that the twin fields up by the top of Aberdare Park are possibly turning into another football or rugby pitch!!? Which leaves again more restrictions on dogs not being able to fully exercise. I would love to hear everyone's thought's on this happening... Please feel free to express your opinions below.
