Whenever I hear someone say "I can't wait for them to grow out of X" I always remember how these days flew by too quickly.

Me today...

Taking the girls to stretch their legs after being stuck on leash at Fyvie Castle and through the reserve to the beach due to nesting season 🥰

Me after automatically bending over to tie my laces this morning....

A short clip of my favourite stretch of yesterday's walk which took us through the dunes with the North Sea just off to our right (out of view here) but, due to the uneven ground and rolling nature of the dunes it was also the stretch that seemed to take the biggest toll on those taking part. Eilidh and Sorcha were completely in their element and loved all the sights, smells and, of course, all the attention they got. I like to think they helped buoy some spirits along the way. 😇

I didn't take any pictures/video going over the finish line but, we crossed the line at about 1815 where my walking partner was surprised by some family.
