Arlo is only a puppy, a big one! Like most pups he's full of life and curiosity but he doesn't realise his own size! Pups need to learn self impulse control, otherwise they can get themselves into trouble! So we are starting with a small game, space invaders to start helping him to understand this

It's not your dog you hate, it's the situation, it's how it makes you feel. Anger, frustration, guilt, desperation, embarrassment and more that you can't explain. Why can't my dog just get on with other dogs??

These feelings affect you, taking your dog out starts to fill you with dread but they need to be exercised, so now you're in a decreasing circle, not knowing how to get out of it.

I know, I've been there.

It doesn't have to be like that, there is help. Things can be different.

Boost, who's a collie x lab is learning to be calm when outside. He's more collie than lab, so being aware of the environment can lead to being over threshold, collies like to control! Teaching him that it's OK to be calm.
