🌞🐾 Summer Dog Walking Tips! 🐶💦

Hey dog lovers! As the temps rise, here are a few quick tips to keep your furry friends safe and happy during summer walks:

✅ Walk Early or Late – Avoid the midday heat. Stick to early mornings or evenings when it’s cooler.

🐾 Paw Check – Asphalt gets HOT! Use the 5-second rule: if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws. Stick to grass when possible.

💧 Stay Hydrated – Always bring water for your pup (and yourself!). We carry fresh water on all our walks.

☀️ Watch for Overheating – Excessive panting, drooling, or lethargy can be signs your dog is too hot. We monitor every pup closely on our walks.

🌳 Seek Shade – We take shady routes to keep your dog cool and comfortable.

🌿 Kenya the Springer Spaniel – True to her name, Kenya is full of spirit, energy, and a love for the great outdoors! With her bouncy steps and curious nose, she’s already proving to be quite the trail explorer.

💖 Bianca the Shih Chi – Small but mighty, Bianca brings a whole lot of personality in a tiny, fluffy package. She’s got the sass, the sweetness, and the cutest strut you've ever seen!

We’re thrilled to have these two join our Hiking Tails pack and can’t wait to make memories, chase butterflies, and explore new paths together! 🥾🐶🌼

🌲🐾 Adventure Day: Carnferg via Birsemore Loch 🐾🌲

What an amazing Sunday we had on our latest Hiking Tails adventure! Last weekend our wonderful gang of doggies tackled the scenic Carnferg trail like absolute pros — with wagging tails, muddy paws, and smiles all round (yes, even from the humans 😅).

We were blessed with beautiful views, happy pups, only one quick rain shower (win!), and plenty of playtime. Everyone was on their best behaviour and absolutely shone from start to finish 💛✨

We wrapped up our day with a well-earned pup cup and a special surprise — each dog got to pick out their very own toy to take home! 🧸🎉

We’re so proud of every single dog who joined us — tired paws and happy hearts all round. 🐶💕🌿

🐾💛 The bond between our walkers and your doggies is something truly special — and honestly, a little magical. Whether it's rain, shine, or a full-blown squirrel chase, we’re out there wagging tails and making memories with your pups every single day.

We don’t just walk dogs — we form friendships (complete with slobbery kisses, zoomies, and dramatic pauses for Very Important Sniffs 🙃). Each dog becomes part of our extended furry family, and we love them like our own — quirks, wiggles, and all.

So from the bottom of our treat pouches, thank you for trusting us with your beloved pups. It’s an honor, a joy, and sometimes a full-body workout, but we wouldn’t have it any other way! 🐶❤️

🌧️ SPLASH, MUD & MILESTONES! 🐾🌲

Our Glen Aven Adventure Day was an absolute riot of zoomies, puddles, and happy muddy paws – all served with a side of classic Scottish weather! 🐕💦

The rain came down, but our adventure crew rose to the challenge like champs, powering through 15km of woodland magic, river dips, shady trails and nonstop tail wags! 🥾🐾

We had loads of breaks, lots of treats, and all the good vibes – the dogs were full of beans and loving every second. And yes… there were many, MANY splashes. 😄🌧️

A HUGE well done to our incredible pack – you all earned your certificates, your naps, and your snacks (the dogs too 😉). We’re so proud of every single pup who joined us!
