This puppy is called Rubbles and he’s a 9 month old Springer Spaniel and was in for his first groom with us., His mum sent me the before & after picture and looks like a completely different dog with all his puppy fluff gone. Rubbles was a bit nervous to begin with but didn’t take long to settle and when his dad collected him, it was zoomies around the garden with a ball 🤣🥰❤️🐾🐾

Hi everyone 👋 I always love learning new skills to add to my grooming qualification, canine massage therapy and of course my crafting. I have dealt with many pet losses over the years and my recent loss of my much loved boy Clyde was a complete heartache ❤️ Since losing Clyde I have found the strength to cope and over the past few months I have been studying pet loss grief and the coping mechanisms. I completed a course on being a pet grief coach and wanted to study more.. I have now completed a course on becoming a pet bereavement counsellor and passed with distinction 🎉🎉 I’m here to help anyone going through pet loss and coping strategies.. My empathy goes beyond when it comes to losing a much loved family member ❤️🌈❤️

My Golden babies waiting for Helen their biscuit lady this morning,, They have been a big hit on TikTok with one video hitting close to 1 million views.. They love their biscuit lady ❤️🐾🐾❤️

This little cutie is called Skye.. He’s just a pup and recently had a small surgical procedure and his mum wanted him short for his hair to blend in where he was shaved by the vet for his anaesthetic cannula.. He has such a cheeky little face and so cute ❤️🐾🐾

This is little video I done this morning with baby Arlo.. I’ve invested in a new treat & train machine to help calm anxious dogs and puppies and it is amazing, well worth the investment. Hope you mind listening to my voice in the video 🤣🤣

Our Story

Precious Paws Dog Grooming offer a full grooming service including bathing, clipping, styling, nails & ears and located in a relaxed home based secure salon and cater for any size of dog. Precious Paws was formed in 2015 and started off as a dog walking/socialising business which my son has now took over that side of the business and he also offers one to one dog training after completing a course through the IMDT and is still very successfully with it and has lots of happy well socialised dogs in his group.

I decided to grow the business and trained to become a dog groomer in 2016 which I completely love and working with dogs is my passion and life. I attend various workshops and seminars run by some of the top grooming stylists and pick up tips during the seminars. I am also completing my OCN grooming diploma through KJG Dog Grooming Academy in Devon with Kelly Gaylor who is an award winning groomer and been in the business a long time.

My background was working in Finance within the oil & gas sector before I started Precious Paws Dog walking and working with dogs has changed my life completely.

I have a BA honours degree and graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 2011 and went to to study small animal care at Aberdeen College full time for 1 year where I learned a lot about canine issues and how to deal with them, such as health & disease, canine first aid, anatomy of the dog and many more....
