Balmedie session coming up this afternoon! Although cameras aren't very fond of salt water, wind, sea spray and airborne sand particles, photo sessions at the beach are always worthwhile! This was Skye at Balmedie beach nearly four years ago! I was back last year to photograph Skye's beautiful puppies too - it's genuinely so rewarding to revisit the dogs I meet in this job, as they gracefully age and go through various trials, joys, tribulations and pleasures :-) I do hope I'll get to go back again soon and meet one of the grown up puppies!

Kali enjoying the golden hour light on a later walk today when it finally cooled down a little bit! Great time of year to have your photo session - bring as many human family members as you like too - I started off with people before moving to photographing dogs and still very much enjoy it :-)

Just a couple from Fergus' session out at Ellon last weekend. A dull, overcast day with just enough hazy sunshine, which actually makes my life a little easier - no deep shadows and bright highlights! Still though, looking forward to some golden hour sessions this Summer! Had a great day out at Castle Fraser yesterday for the Aberdeenshire Doodles and Poos "doodle dash" meet up. Just an amazing number of doggos, and lots of lovely folk too. Being surrounded by dogs just doesn't feel like work at all :-D Huge thanks to Vivien for having me along to take the photos!

We were delighted to welcome the Aberdeenshire Doodles & Poos Group for their Grand Meeting yesterday! 🐾

Thank you to Lily for this photo taken today! We had a lovely, sunny photo session at Tolohill Woods with three really gorgeous doggos. Chaotic and wonderful. Very glad to have had two helpers - makes a *huge* difference!!
