Yesterday volunteers from the Bon Accord Steam Engine Club and Royal Deeside Railway Preservation Society worked alongside each other to prepare the Milton of Crathes Station car park for the up and coming Santa Specials #HaveYouGotYourTicketsYet
The team used Buster a steam roller that was built in 1922 to roll the railways car park.

Road and Rail Steam #FlashbackFriday
Last Friday some of our members were already at the Strathspey Steam Railway for the Flying Scotsman Steam Gala. Not to miss an opportunity, the team who operate Buster (Buster’s Return to Steam) parked the roller underneath the bridge adjacent to the Boat Of Garten Station and managed to get this short video of the Flying Scotsman passing over the bridge.

No steam engine event is complete without hearing the sounds of the engines whistles. However the line up doesn’t normally include the Flying Scotsman. This was filmed last Sunday at the Strathspey Steam Railway.

The Grampian Transport Museum are heading to Castle Fraser, Garden & Estate NTS
With their steam waggon on static display this year, the team from the Grampian Transport Museum are bringing their restored Landrover Ambulance to the Steam and Vintage Fair.
The ambulance will be on display adjacent to the fire engines at the event.
