Today we had a visit from Mario the Husky puppy. He came in for his monthly puppy check and to get his worming tablets. He was very relaxed waiting for Nurse Jasmine to call him in.

A few of our clients have made us aware of a microchip scam that has been circulating recently. An email will come from a company called PETCHIP and they will have all of the information that is registered on your chip, including the chip number and your name and contact information, however, this is NOT a legitimate company or request. If you receive one of these emails, please do not click on the link or provide any bank information and please report this to your microchip company.

We sadly have a deceased female calico cat who was found this morning on Howes road and handed in by a member of the public.

Unfortunately she is not chipped.

⚡️⚡️POWER CUT ⚡️⚡️

**UPDATE 18.45pm**. We still don't have power. When the power does go back on the phones will not be transferred to the out of hours message. If you do need to contact vets now at 7pm the number is 01224 379091

Please be advised we currently have a power cut in the building -we are working hard to get this resolved but it means at the moment we currently don't have access to our phones or emails or lights. We have been informed the engineer is on his way but it's unlikely we will have power before we close at 7pm.

If you have a genuine emergency we would suggest calling another vet until vets now opens at 7pm.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We would like to advise our clients that we will now require 48 hours (2 working days) for all repeat medications to be dispensed. You can still order these either over the phone on 01224 716848 or via our online order form on our website.

•Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm (or 11am-7pm every other week)
•Every 2nd Saturday, 8am-12pm (flexibility can be discussed!)

He is a ginger neutered male with an injured front leg.
