We will start off the ponies with a quick introduction, warm up and interaction exercise then we will get on and get riding! FUN is the main objective tomorrow!
I will also bring along some of the BHS pony stars booklets for parents to look as I'm taking names and registration fees now with only 8 spaces available (I think 4 have gone already). We will have pony stars sessions on 12 Dec and 28 Dec, both will be dismounted sessions for 1 hour and open to kids aged 3-7.

Fun day out riding Oscars Lad owned by Eileen Beddows Campsie at his debut working hunter show. He was a super lad.....producing a beautiful clear jumping round and foot perfect show for 2nd place in the 80 class in good company. Thanks to findon RC for a fantastic show. Well built track, both encouraging and educational. Bigger jumps I think next time 😊 Lovely to be out seeing familiar faces and cheering local folks on! Special well done to Rachel & Roshan who I've been working with for a while....they produced 2 clear rounds and placings in both the 80 & 90 classes - Well doners! 🐎💙🤩 Here's a little video of Oscar & me popping round the 80 class enjoying our day out in the sun! Little Roo out at jumping for the first time last week. Showjumps are completely new to him so this will be our focus for the next few weeks along with some dressage and arena event outings. We'll also be upping the fitness/fast work and have booked lindores cross country for some XC schooling in March. Roo will be available for sale at the end of March to any interested parties, 5* home a must! He is showing all the attributes needed to make a top class BYRDS, PC/RC or BE grassroots pony and has an abundance of kindness that is sure to make him someones best mate! 😍🐎💖
Little Roo put on his best mountain goat impression and enjoyed a bit of Hillwork this weekend! 🏇💪😊 I truly believe hacking and strength work on a variety of terrains really pays dividends when they start eventing. Little Roo seemed pretty happy with his first experience of showjump training so after a day off we decided to see what he had learned.... introducing him to a double and a little oxer. Good to see him enjoying it so much and being a star pupil. He can really lift those little knees now and is getting stronger by the week! Can't wait for the fancy new surface to be finished in the big indoor arena so we can get going with grids, courses and lots of scary fillers/XC fences! 💙 Hope you all had fun on your ponies this weekend! Today little Roo learned to leave the ground and start jumping which he really enjoyed! 😍 Even threw in a few cheeky flying changes when he landed on the wrong lead so there's definitely potential there! Keeping everything slow, straightforward and fun to ensure he has a positive experience and fully understands questions asked 😊 Looking forward to watching the jumping develop over the coming weeks - must try and plan a jumping outing to give him experience round a course. 🏇
