We are appealing for help in locating a man wanted in connection with a number of s*x offences.

Derek Johnson, aged 58, is believed to have committed offences in Gloucestershire, Kent and potentially elsewhere in the UK, befriending vulnerable victims online before travelling to meet them in person.

He was arrested by Hertfordshire Police last month at our request before later failing to answer to bail.

It's believed he could now be anywhere in the country.

Johnson is believed to have connections in Stevenage, Hertfordshire, Gloucestershire, West Midlands, Devon, Yorkshire, Wales, Ayrshire, Northumbria, Northern Ireland and Kent.

The public are advised not to approach him.

Anyone who sees Johnson, or has any information about his whereabouts, is asked to report information online using the following form, quoting incident 324 of 3 March: https://www.gloucestershire.police.uk/contact/af/contact-us/us/a-crime-that-has-already-been-reported/

🪴 Exciting Announcement 🪴

We are thrilled to share that our family has recently submitted a planning application for our next Garden Kitchen by Pugh’s concept in Abergavenny, located at the former Timothy Oulton Furniture store on Mill Street. We are collaborating with the planning officers and the local town council to apply for a change of use from retail to mixed-use, which will include both retail and hospitality, similar to The Garden Kitchen in Rogerstone, Newport.

We believe that the Garden Kitchen will create a perfect synergy with the vibrant community of Abergavenny. Our vision includes a spacious, up to 80-seater restaurant/café (both indoors and outdoors), a Food Hall, gifts, indoor plants, private dining experiences, Welsh supplier events, and our TWELVE monthly taster menu evenings. By partnering with a variety of local suppliers, we aim to offer an exciting mix of high-quality food and produce, fostering a dynamic hub for local employment with a focus on community engagement. With our roots in environmental sustainability, we have been successfully running garden centers in Cardiff and the Vale for the past 70 years.

If all goes well and our application is approved, we look forward to becoming an integral part of the Abergavenny community later this year.
