th problem behaviours such as barking and lunging at other dogs or people, destructive or anxious behaviours when left alone, guarding food or toys or any aggressive behaviours. ACTIVITIES & SPORTS: Everything from Agility to Mantrailing, Scentwork to Brain Training, our activities are suitable for all sizes and shapes of dogs and handlers! FIELD HIRE: Our three acre fenced paddock gives dogs the opportunities to have a stress free off lead run!

🐾Agility Class Spaces Available🐾

We have a few spaces available in our agility classes that run on a Saturday afternoon up until the Spring.

Dogs must be sequencing jumps, tunnels and contacts (with a little help is okay). Your dog must be happy to work around other dogs and people :)

Snow, wind, rain and sun ... but these guys not only rocked up for it - they totally smashed it!!🥰🐾 Both pups and humans really earned their rosettes today 🐾 These guys have been the most delightful class with everyone working really hard to give their pups the best start 🥰🐾.

We've had the most fabulous fun playing clicker games and learning new tricks over the last few weeks 🥰

Tonight was a little showcase of tricks they've been learning at home. It's always interesting seeing how the dogs transfer their understanding on location! Homework is fading out lures and targets and building in a verbal cue! Practice, proofing and more practice 💕

It's been a pleasure watching these super clever dogs settle, engage and learn with their humans 🥰

Looking for a fun way to pass the long, dark Winter evenings with your dog? Join us for our 6-week Clicker Training class – an exciting opportunity to bond with your dog, develop new skills, and enjoy some fun, rewarding activities!

When: Starting Thursday 9th January

Puppy social is suitable for puppies up to 16 weeks (at the start of class) and focuses on everything you need to know to get you and your puppy on the right path! 💫

🐾 FOUNDATION AGILITY CLASS🐾

We have the very last agility foundation class of the year starting Saturday 2nd November!

An 8 week course suitable for dogs aged over 9 months who are happy and comfortable working around other dogs and people with no underlying physical concerns.

We will be building up the foundation skills for you and your dog to get going on your agility journey, lots of play and lots of fun with your buddy 🥰

⭐️🐾 NEW SCENTWORK CLASS 🐾⭐️
We have a new "Pet Detectives" class starting in September! Scentwork is a fabulous game for all dogs young and old! and provides a great mental workout, while giving them an outlet for their natural hunting behaviours. It really is the perfect game for all pet dogs!

Teach your dog to search for specific odours and alert you to where they are – just like the military and police dogs do! While police and military dogs might search for targets such as drugs and explosives, ☢️we use slightly less toxic substances, such as tea, herbs or catnip! ☘️
✅Scent detection is the most fabulous activity for pet dogs, giving them a taxing mental work out, improving problem solving skills and confidence with an added bonus of promoting the production of those feel-good hormones that help your dog chill out!
✅These classes are for complete beginners so there is absolutely no experience necessary to come along – you just need a dog, lots of snacks and a good sense of humour!
✅Classes are held in Pandy Village Hall on a Wednesday evening and cost £95 for a 6-week course which includes a scent kit for you to practice at home. At the end of your six weeks, if you and your dog would like to, you can take your Level 1 detection dog test and earn yourself a rosette to show off your achievements! 🐾🥇
✅Once you have passed your Level 1 you and your dog will be invited to join our private facebook community and come along to more classes to continue your detection journey, join us for ad-hoc detection days out, or even participate in some of my future research in this area !🥸
For this class dogs do need to be happy to work in proximity to other dogs. If you don’t think your dog can cope with a class environment don’t worry, just let us know as we do have some spaces for 121’s too.
👉 𝗔𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿👈
Lyn is a qualified and accredited (APBC) clinical animal behaviourist with over eight years of experience teaching scent work for pet dogs. Lyn completed her MSc in Clinical Animal Behaviour at Lincoln University and her thesis on training methods and odour generalisation in detection dogs is currently undergoing peer review for publication. In continued collaboration with Lincoln University, Lyn has been the lead author for a Chapter on Training Methods in the recently published book ‘Olfactory Research in Dogs’ and written a scientific review on Generalisation and Working Detection Dogs for a Government procured project. Lyn is currently pursuing a PhD, also with Lincoln University, focussing on training methods and generalisation in detection dogs. Lyn is passionate about dog welfare and ensuring dogs are provided with appropriate outlets for their needs. Detection training and general search games are often a key element to this and alongside taking on behaviour cases and running puppy classes for new owners, is her favourite activity to get pet dogs and their owners involved in.

Jack, Nel, Milo & Lily completed their puppy grad course last night. They ended on a high by showing us their superb recall skills with their owners 🤩

We’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with each owner and their puppy on their journey 💕

Lastly, not forgetting River who was unable to make last night’s final session but has been fabulous throughout! You’re all amazing 💫

Arnie has been struggling with separation at home and dogs when out and about - but is now making amazing progress 🥰🐾 Its all the little pieces of the of the jigsaw like these that eventually come together and make a difference 🐾. Well done Arnie and family - you are doing a great job 🥰 we may need to teach Arnie to clean up after himself next though🤣
