Our secure dog walking field is located in the heart of Speyside and has stunning mountain views (at goo.gl/maps/618HxcndL3J2). Having kept sled dogs for the last 35 years we know how difficult it can be to find a place where dogs, that are difficult to let off lead for whatever reason, can run to their hearts content without getting into trouble with livestock or traffic. Whatever your reason, wh

ether your dog is uncomfortable around strange dogs or people, a keen hunter, or you just want some private peaceful time to yourself with your dog, Rabbit Rock secure field is the ideal place. All dogs need the opportunity to run and explore smells in order to have a quality of life. It was the need to provide our own dogs with such a facility that led to the idea of setting up Rabbit Rock Field and we very much hope that your dogs will enjoy it as much as ours do. Rabbit Rock Field is approximately 6 acres enclosed by a brand new high quality 6 foot deer fence. In addition there is a 3 foot apron of ground wire on the inside in order to prevent any digging out and so that no gaps can open up at the base of the fence. This fencing is secure for the vast majority of dogs, but really little dogs would be able to get through the mesh as we do not want to exclude the smaller wildlife that abounds in the area. You will need to satisfy yourself that the fence is suitable for your particular dogs. Water is available inside the field near the gate but we don't provide bowls for hygiene reasons. Currently, there is not really any shade so care needs to be taken in very hot weather, although a tree planting programme is planned for the future. The field is designed so that you can drive in and lock the gate before allowing your dogs out of the vehicle. There is a hard standing and turning area both inside the field and outside in order to allow for a smooth changeover. Slots are bookable on the hour and last 50 mins allowing a 10 minute changeover between users. Once you are in the field it is for your exclusive use and no-one else will be in it. In emergencies, the mobile phone signal is pretty good. Please call our mobile number which is displayed on the inside of the gate. We are living on site and can to deal with any problems promptly. DISCLAIMER

USERS OF RABBIT ROCK FIELD DO SO AT THEIR OWN RISK, AND ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSESSING WHETHER THE FIELD IS SUITABLE FOR THEIR DOGS BEFORE USE. THE OWNERS OF RABBIT ROCK FIELD ACCEPT NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR INJURY TO USERS OR THEIR DOGS OR POSSESSIONS, NOR FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGE TO VEHICLES OR THEIR CONTENTS. RULES OF THE FIELD

The Field has a high quality six foot fence and gates, with narrower gaps between the wires at the bottom of the fence. You are responsible for assessing whether the Field is suitable for your dogs; if it you judge it to be unsuitable do not use the Field, we will give you a full refund of your payment. You must not let any dog off lead in the Field if you think it may get over or through the fence or gates, even if you believe it will not cause any problems if it does so. Note that there are livestock in adjacent fields. The whole of Rabbit Rock Field, including the parking area outside of the gate, is a strictly NO SMOKING AREA. Barbecues and any type of stoves are not allowed in the Field because of the risk of fires. If you do arrive before the start time of your slot, use the parking bay outside the Rabbit Rock Field gate and stay in your vehicle. Do not wait on the track or outside the stables as this is private land and causes problems for our neighbours. Please keep noise to a minimum – we rely on the goodwill of our neighbours, please respect their privacy and peace and quiet. Complaints about noise will result in refusal of further use of the Field. You must ensure that all dogs are vaccinated and wormed. Professional dog walkers: please contact us before booking. You must pick up after your dogs, a bin is provided for poo bags and other non-recyclable rubbish. (Please take any recyclable rubbish home with you.) If a dog, or any dog it lives with, is showing any ill health (coughing, diarrhoea, vomiting, general lethargy etc.) you must cancel the session – contact us to rebook without charge or have a refund of your payment. All use of the Field must be pre-paid. Dogs must be kept in your vehicle while waiting for your session. Each session starts on the hour and lasts for 50 minutes. Users agree not to arrive early and to leave the site promptly at the end of their session to reduce the chance of overlap with the next user. If the previous user is still in the Field at your start time do not enter the Field but call us immediately. You and your dogs must remain in the vehicle until they have left. If you are unable to use a booked session for any reason you must cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice to allow the session to be freed up for others (dog’s ill health excepted). Always lock the gate while you are in the Field, before getting your dogs out. Always lock the gate after driving out, even if someone else is waiting. All users of the Field agree that they do so at their own risk. Use of the Field is at the absolute discretion of the Management; if use is refused the Management is not obliged to give a reason for refusal.

While it has been beyond stunning here over this last week, access has of course been very challenging. Hopefully the coming week will see us fully open, if somewhat soggy from the snow melt. Generally the field remains reasonably dry and clean apart from the flat area at the top so we hope to see some of you back for your usual fun walks 🥰

Those who have been to Rabbit Rock over the last few days will have seen the very smart and comfortable new bench in the Play Field.
This was bought for me and Rabbit Rock by many of you after my good friends at JP Dog Training set up some fund raising.
I was blown away by the kindness of everyone and just want to say a huge thank you!
2024 has been the worst of years for me personally, but gestures like this makes me realise how many wonderful people there are in the world ❤ and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
The plaque on the bench says it all for me and I want you all to enjoy sitting there to cuddle your best friends 🐺🐶 and admire the view.

Attention Rabbit Rockers!!!
Anyone who is coming to the field tomorrow, could you look out for this small piece of jewellery. It contains some of the ashes of this ladies mum. So you can see, it's very precious indeed. It's only tiny so you will need sharp eyes and luck! She would be so very grateful if it can found ❤
