**Local friends could you ask around please.**

We are looking for somewhere to live and it’s proving hard to find somewhere that suits our needs. Ideally a 2/3 bed house in the middle of nowhere or with neighbours who have dogs. We breed and train working GSDs who live in kennels (I have my own) just need a bit of hard standing to put them on and access to walking / training land. There’s only 3 of them and they have been brought up with sheep/horses/livestock and are **good to have around for security. One spaniel who lives indoors.

Access to a stable and grazing for a couple of horses either on the property or nearby. Not a deal breaker as I’ll put them in livery if I must but it would be better if I could have them close.

Long term let and as long as I know I’m staying I’m happy to spend a bit on it so don’t care what condition it’s in as long as it’s structurally ok.
Have good income, references and a proven record of being a good tenant.
I’m thinking a farm tie or similar. If anyone has anything or knows anyone who does please contact me. Anywhere considered but rather stay within 20 miles of Aberystwyth.
I'd like to get this sorted well before Christmas if possible.

*Ael Y Bryn Fun Ride**

Well, what an amazing day we had for our first fun ride. Despite the rain, which at least held off for the ride we had a great time and raised £200 for DPRG.

Everyone arrived on time (with exception of one - you know who you are 😂) and we set off for the hills. Everyone made it around the full route safely and returned to Ael Y Bryn. Under the watchful eye of our first aider and ever diligent DPRG training officer Lowri.

A few hours of sogginess which was made better by a gazebo supplied by my lovely neighbours Jude Macklin and a fire pit supplied by Alan & Amanda Jones.

Everyone enjoyed a BBQ expertly cooked by John Corfield with hotdogs and burgers supplied by Paul at Penparcau Butchers.

Despite the weather the kids, young and older made use of the pool and music was played by resident DJ Alan.

Everyone has a good chat and a few drinks. The guests in the B&B had a great time and asked me to thank you all for making them feel so very welcome.

Big thank you to everyone involved in organising the event and marking it a success and of course to the hackers and their horses. It was a really enjoyable day.

Planning is already underway for next year's ride and I can’t wait. We are in a great spot for it and we are delighted to share it with you.

We would like to invite you to a FUN RIDE followed by BBQ and Pool Party at Ael Y Bryn, Llangwyryfon Country Breaks & Livery.

Riding attendees £25 and £10 per guest. All profits to the 𝔻𝕪𝕗𝕗𝕣𝕪𝕟 ℙ𝕒𝕚𝕥𝕙 ℝ𝕚𝕕𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝔾𝕣𝕠𝕦𝕡 Remember this is for the riding group so 'guest' means a member of your family or friend linked directly to you, so no cheeky block bookings by horsey friends - they pay too. 😂😂😂😂. PLEASE BRING CASH TO PAY

Park and unload in our field and set off at 11am. Several routes are available from 1 hour to 3 hours. Return to Ael Y Bryn for a BBQ and a swim in the pool. You are welcome to join us for the rest of the day for a pool party. (Bring your own drink)

We have 6 stables which you are welcome to use while you BBQ on a first come first serve basis. If you have any questions please send a message or give me a call 07486 486671.

Good afternoon. I’m looking for a large horse (16hh+) to be my new best friend. Preferably a gelding who would have a fantastic life on our livery yard & B&B, living in a small herd and used as a happy hacker.

Lightly backed, lunging well and a fast learner with good conformation and paces. Takes a saddle, bridle and bit without fuss. Good with dentist, vet and farrier. Fully vaccinated and targeted worming history. Good to catch, loves a groom and loads and travels well. With a kind, affectionate nature and willingness to please she would be an ideal horse to bring on for sports and eventing as well as school / hacking. Massive congratulations to Rachael Blackmore. Becoming the first female jockey to win the Grand National on the amazing Minella Times.

We have a rare vacancy for a full livery. We are not expensive so if you are looking for a new home for your four legged friend please consider us. I’m sorry we don’t do DIY or part livery.

You can expect excellent care and our hacks are some of the best in the county. We ride out every day so you will always have plenty of people to go out with and good riders to exercise your horse on days you can’t ride yourself.

Is your horse recovering from injury or not been worked for a while? We can gently bring them back into work for you.

Today we say goodbye to Zulu and Nemo who were here on temporary livery. Here they go ridden by Jessie and Connie who are riding them to their new home. We will miss them terribly. In the short time they were here they really made their mark and made us smile everyday.
